In what way is Vagrant different to Terraform? Can't I do the same thing with Terraform, provided that there is a provider for Terraform and your VM-/Containter-Solution?
@@AntwanG Same for me. I was aware of Vagrant but being extremely familiar with Terraform and Packer I have never really understood why I would use Vagrant. It seems like it was a first attempt (this was the first tool from Hashicorp, IIRC) at something like to make “images” (I think that this predated Docker, even… and they borrowed heavily from Vagrant, maybe someone can shed more light on this). While there may be some good use cases that folks still have, the video did a lot to clear things up and ultimately reinforce my thoughts.
