It took me 15 minutes into the video to realize you weren't on a motorcycle. I searched motorcycle rides on US 66 and yours popped up. Anyways, ciao...
My nephew lives in Tulsa. He moved there about a year ago and says that he loves it. From the looks of some of it I don't like it. I wouldn't mind visiting but not to live there.
Interesting route, -sad to see the state of the city! Btw California is incredibly diverse geographically more then any other state and cannot be readily generalized. Parts of the he Golden state would easily qualify on their own as among the best OR among the WORST states in the country.
California btw has by far the nations worst homelessness problem overall and some REALLY bad cities (and suburbs) inland. Stockton, San Bernardino, Redding, Fresno, Vallejo etc. are much like Tulsa, Jackson etc. blighted and crime ridden, with homeless everywhere.
You wanna see a dystopian nightmare go to downtown LA where there's 52 city blocks of tents, mountains of trash, rats, crazy drugged out people screaming at the sky and bodies strewn along the sidewalks. Total 3rd World. That QT gas station with a few homeless people around isn't anything.
Im from Oklahoma, and I agree with your observations. Facts.
Tulsa is the headquarters of QuikTrip. It started here.
Dude you picked the crappy part of Tulsa . Much better places in Tulsa.
Went to welding school in 2015 Tulsa Oklahoma Route 66. Lots of hangovers. Lots of fights. And lots of busted welds but it was some good times
Kingman, AZ is really cool on Route 66 too.
I love roads like that too Jose

Bless you. Is your wife ok?
One day i will be here
Rt. 66 through Gallup, NM is cool too.
The homeless camps did start popping up more and more.
A better restored part of Route 66 is in Williams, AZ by the Grand Canyon.
Home …. Tulsa is a great place to live but it does have some things that makes it difficult…. Stay well and vigilant. ✌️🔥💯🇺🇸😎🌪🌎🍺

The two cars in the parking lot with the police look like they’d just had a fender bender, not druggies.

I bet Tulsa's still better than Jackson, MS.
thats not a clear definite thing.. i would have to think long and hard to answer that LOL - both cities are full of drugs
According to us news, Tulsa us #8 mist dangerous. I don't believe Jackson is on the list.
Jackson, MS suburbs like Madison and Ridgeland is really nice
