In my younger years I sailed as a marine engineer, before Teflon tape we used pipe dope and hemp for threaded connections.
And you know what, I still use pipe dope but now with Teflon tape, never a leak.

Nie dokońca to dobra rada, bo można spotkać rurę z gwintem lewym. A wtedy właśnie nakręcamy taśmę teflonową jak na początku filmu. Poprawnie by było że taśmę owijamy w zależności od rodzaju gwintu.

１）　先っぽまで巻かない　とか(先まで巻いてしまったらナイフでカットします）
２）　巻いた後でねじになじませるとか（ねじの谷から浮かないように指でぐりぐり）
３）　穴はテーパねじじゃないとテープダメとか
　　　（時々ストレート同士でテープ巻いてる素人さん見ますね）
４）　当然前に巻いてたテープはメねじ側も取っておく　とか（次ねじ込んだ時に奥に入ってしまう）
日本では常識だと思うけど。。。知らない人も少しは居てるとは思うけどね
普通はガス管なら　おまけに　シール剤塗ってますね

My best one yet is ‘a friend’ of my daughter who did some plumbing for her and wrapped a compression fitting olive in PTFE tape … oh, but also didn’t do more than hand tighten the fitting. It did hold water … for about 24 hours … before blowing the fitting off and sending mains-pressure water over a newly laid wooden floor, ruining it and some kitchen electricals 😢

Para comenzar, no se coloca teflón en caños de PVC, es inútil. Se usa en conexiones metálicas. El resto está bien, son buenos consejos. Saludos.

Merci pour ta vidéo. Je te propose de la compléter.
Téflon, encore 3 points importants à connaître :
1) quand on sert la vis il ne faut JAMAIS REVENIR EN ARRIÈRE. En effet après le premier serrage le téflon est écrasé, et quand on dévisse on déchire le téflon, le joint n'est plus étanche. Dans ce cas on enlève tout et on recommence avec du téflon neuf.
2) Combien de couches doit-on enrouler ? Le téflon doit être enroulé TENDU , jusqu'à ce que le pas de vis DISPARAISSE PRESQUE . Pour faciliter la prise de l'écrou, on peut envisager de légèrement décalé à partir du 2e tour, ce qui donne une surépaisseur plus progressive.
3) Si la visserie est très lisse ( c'est le cas des visseries modernes) , l'ensemble du téflon risque de glisser et d'être sorti du pas de vis par l'écrou. Ceci peut être évité en commençant par laisser le téflon débordé légèrement sur le côté du pas de vis. Ainsi le début sera coincé et l'ensemble ne pourra pas glisser.
