Sir, I want to ask you? Is it possible so that water may be from lower reservoir to the upper reservoir? And also when the inlet of lower reservoir it the bottom of higher reservoir. This was my question.
If I can email you problem would be better. But is the same case presented above, only changes is that water is filling up reservoir from lower reservoir. Thanks 🙏🏽
Hi...I want to simulate a hydrocyclone separator. Where I want to input mixture of two particles (PVC and PET) and separate them and calculate the efficiency ...but i am facing a lot of problem inserting two types particle through inlet...I badly need your help in this case😓
Dear admin, thank you for the video. Can I change water to other fluid or change the density of fluid? Please help how to change density in this situation. Thank you.
Thanks for the vid, I have a problem exporting the animations. Fluent always crashes if I try to export it as a mpeg or even as a series of images. Do you know a way of fixing this as I cant find anything online.
good work my friend .... what type of turbulence model did u use in this tutorial .... I am using another software to simulate which is star ccm+ ... thank you
Dear Reza, thank you for watching and thank you for your comment. One of CFD and Fluent's basic assumptions is continuity. I believe in the Nano-Scale, the continuity definition is not valid anymore and even if you define the geometry in Nano size, the results will not be valid. Could you please mention a paper or publication that did the same thing? If you elaborate the problem more, I could make a simulation.
@@AdvancedEngineeringTutorials thanks and i really appreciate your help actually we can assume that continuity is valid. I have done this in comsol and coding and it was true
@@rezakalantar2951 Okay, I will try to prepare a video related to this topic. However, I am quite confident that continuity is not valid. At Nano-Scale, even the non-slip condition is not 100 percent true assumption. The simulation will run and we can get good results comparing to the macro scale, but we will not see the nano-scale effects in heat transfer and fluid mechanics here.
Dear admin, Thanks a lot for all your tutorial videos. Btw, do you have any simulation tutorials of mixing ion-exchange resin (granular particles) and water in a vessel with air? like there are half water and half resin in a vessel, then we mix its with air (blow from the lower of the vessel)? Thank You, God Bless.
Thanks for the comment. Could you please elaborate more? The problem you are looking for is a vessel with already two phases inside and the third phase as air is mixing from the bottom? Similar to this image? www.idreco.com/wp-content/uploads/ion_exchange_05.png
You need to export VOF value in from fluent to a file and plot using that. Please let me know if you need more help. Also for this case, since we have fixed amount of liquid and gas, the VOF is not changing with time for the entire model.
Very good tutorial about vof, Much appreciation from my side.

thank you for your vedio ,it is really interesting. I am a doctor degree candidate in china.

It is clear and working video ty
Instead of marking you can create two domains in meshing with interior cells seperating the two domains then will only need to do to patching
Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment. That is correct and another way to do that.

Fluent export animation is not working very good. Try CFD post for video creation.
With the recent iris xe graphics with the 11th gen i5 16gb ram compatible and sufficient with ansys for medium simulations?

I am using the default settings. It is SST-kw model.
Can Fluent simulate two phase flow with phase change from an input heat?
Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment. Yes, it is possible.
how to export this data from ansys to software like blender for rendering

Thank you very much for your help and consideration. I have a question how can I learn ansys like you . You are great at it
How does the variable time stepping method work
could you elaborate your question? You have question about the theory? Or you want to know about the setting in the Fluent?
@@AdvancedEngineeringTutorials I want to know about the setting
@@mayankparasher1249 I will post a video regarding the setting soon.

Is there a research paper available relating such flows

Dear admin, can you make a video on Bubble absorption modelling in a tank?
Sure, please provide and example for the process (e.g. a paper or explanation of the problem) and we will try to include the tutorial.
@@AdvancedEngineeringTutorials dear sir, kindly provide your mail, I will mail all the things to you
Please provide a link here to a paper or other materials so it could be useful for every one watching this video. Thank you.
