omg, i watch this all the time and it never gets old. while my favorite songs on this video to rock out to are right round and teenage wasteland, my favorite of all these songs is when penn did sweet caroline. his voice just makes me melt like butter. i think they are doing WAY better than nota. i mean, the bubs have made like six or more arrangements on glee and provided the backround vocals. and has nota been offered something like that on a popular tv show like glee? I THINK NOT! I LOVE BUBS!
I think Sweet Caroline is my favorite song by the Bubs. They do an amazing job on all the songs for that matter! I hope they continue to sing wherever they go in life.
Matt McCormick all the way right now I'm listening to him sing 'come sail away' he is amazing!!!!! This is probably the 25th time in a row I am listening to him it's one if those songs u can't stop listening to and u never get tired if it. All cuz Matts singing it I LOVE him I would kill to meet him!!!!!!!
13 people didn't like the Bubs...sigh. They were the best last season, they should've won! There is so much tangible energy in their performances...they seem as if they are having the absolute time of their lives! I love seeing that in performances...
I think you hit the nail on the head. I always thought the awesome thing about shows like this and America's Best Dance Crew is unlike, say, American Idol where they're all about finding undiscovered nobodies in such a broad criteria as "mainstream music", all (or I assume at least most) of these groups are pretty well established, just within a genre that is more obscure. By gaining interest for that genre everyone wins, regardless of who *wins*.
i love the bubs. idk why they didnt win not only do they sing good, they're entertainers ! i love their facial expressions and movements. theyre such a thrill
@DerekXLhead- Beatboxer- Alexander Koutzoukis Singer of behind blue eyes- Matt McCormick Singer of who are you- Eric Morrisay Singer if sweet caroline- Penn Rosen The guy with the glasses- I'm pretty sure it's Paul Alvarez
Every time I need a pick me up, I watch this vid. They are such great performers and you just get the sense they are having the times of their lives...
You can find Matt's other project, All Out, on iTunes and on myspace. (On myspace their ID is AllOutMA) It's pretty impressive stuff. When I saw Matt's other stuff I realized he was going to have a musical career whether the Bubs won or not.
Bubs were awesome. Matt and Eric should each find musicians and front cover bands, because both of them are awesome, and they can just pour emotion so amazingly into everything they do in performances.
I keep watching this and keep finding more to amaze me! Talk about depth on the bench- there were four different soloists? Five? And probably more, if that nights tune needed a certain voice. And the bass is awesome! Always overlooked but makes or breaks a group.
Months later, and I'm still watching these videos! Bubs are great, and I can say that this group in particular have a better sound than any of the recent Bubs at Tufts. I highly suggest you pick up their cd. It's so good!
NOTA - winners of Season 1 are the best!!!!! Just saw their new video for "All I Want For Christmas Is You" on their channel - NOTAVOCAL ... its AMAZZINNNGGGG
I got to see these guys live... and then they serenaded some girl in the audience for Sweet Caroline. Haha, I was so jealous of her! They're so amazing.
they came to my school and did a concert and then they did a workshop with us the next day and i got to speak to alll of them! and we all did a song with them
@chancesxfade Did you ever get an answer to your questions? These guys are an acapella group from Massachusetts. This was the first season of The Sing Off on NBC.
@jjbalishhhh--- they have 2 bass (well actually three) the super super hot one with the dark hair is Eli Seidman and the really cute one with lighter hair is Evan Powell... and the third is the guy with the mic... again his name is Alexander Koutoukis but his voice part is a bass although he is not a bass in these songs....
@careyellow completely and totally agree, Glee should use these guys! they'd fit the Warbler look perfectly and they're just as animated as any actors! :)
Anyone else love as much as l did the fact that when they did Baba O'Reilly this season the male lead had to kick to his falsetto? You are a man Matt McCormick...you are a man
@WarriorThirrin The Beelzebubs are out of Tufts and actually had CDs out before the Sing Off -- if you look up their university site, they have albums linked there. Tonight I watched the Sing Off finale and saw the most entertaining group get 2nd place again... *sigh* ... don't get me wrong, perhaps Nota put out amazing albums and all, but the Beelzebubs were so fun to watch -- I'm just glad they remained on throughout the competition.
This is a Tufts University extracurricular club. A fun hobby. They are AMAZING! They have a lot of depth too. See how many leads they use? And the pathetic NOBO or whoever won... This songs makes me go all squishy girly inside! So kawaii romantic! Beautiful performances all throughout though. Amazing work from college kids having fun.
@Neokitty55 They couldn't miss any more college, and their college is in Massachusetts, and Glee is filmed in California, so they had to just send recordings.
@PokerJoker811 I agree that Nota went into the "Puerta Rican" music a little too often, but they out did the Beelzebubs on harmonies and overall talent and sound.. The B's totally rocked with their performances visually a and comically, making them more memorable. I think the ending was a fair call, but the B's are my favorite.
@nubnubnub1 Vocal nod to Nota? Do you know how hard it is to coordinate 12 guys like the Bubs have and have it sound this good 24/7. Not easy. Go look up some of their tracks on their CD....I'm thinking very marketable. Plus- don't we have enough groups that sound like Nota already? They're Puerto Rican and faced hardship, we get it. But raw talent? Still going with the Bubs...
On the first night when they sung mystery tour and Matt yelled, 'roll up roll up for the mystery tour step right this way!!' i knew these guys were gonna b funny (and my faves!!!!!)
@bobular1000---- his name is Alexander Koutoukis..... and @coleymoly5----- his name is paul alvarez and i think the guy giving the lap dance is hoootttt!!!!
@Juvchan It's true that their arrangements are selling like crazy, but they aren't getting the recognition for it openly, most people don't realize that they are arranging them. also, i think they are the real winners here, because Nota hasn't really done anything with their win. it's just like American Idol. Second place owns.
if u guys think its amazing on video its INSANE in person and they are all soooooo nice. i was sooooo honored to see them. they didnt do Right Round or the Who medley though i was sad.
so these are the guys who sung the background vocals for the warbles songs on glee. amazing voices, i can't get it that they done every sound with their MOUTHES!!! respect!!! such a shame that the guys doesn't appear on glee, they would fit to show.
@CWengerd95 Yes! Matt has always reminded me of Frodo He grew up in the town next to my school and some of my friends know him/his family. Just to add to the debate, I support them over Nota. Although Nota was great and sometimes was more ontune, the Bubs captured the audience in a way Nota never did. And I've seen them perform live, they're amazing.
my theory is they are more musical theater..two are music majors and Matt (curly haired one) has been in 20 productions and there are so many of them it overwhelms some maybe thats why. i personally love these guys to bits especially Matt. those eyes and the voice, SWOON!..anyway thats just my thoughts.
100% agree. (with PokerJoker811) It's not that I think Nota wasn't talented, but they didn't show nearly the same range as the bubs. The bubs had such a varied approach and throughout the course of the contest they proved they could handle virtually anything. No other group went to such great lengths to show that, and in the case of nota they tended to prove the exact opposite. For example, I really enjoyed nota's "down"...until they changed the song completely.
The bubs motto is "fun through song" and no other a capella group is more entertaining and exciting to watch. Love them so much!!
omg, i watch this all the time and it never gets old. while my favorite songs on this video to rock out to are right round and teenage wasteland, my favorite of all these songs is when penn did sweet caroline. his voice just makes me melt like butter. i think they are doing WAY better than nota. i mean, the bubs have made like six or more arrangements on glee and provided the backround vocals. and has nota been offered something like that on a popular tv show like glee? I THINK NOT! I LOVE BUBS!
I love these guys sooo much!! How did they not win??? The guy who sang sweet Caroline the end there is wickedddd hot!!
I want more bubs!! :) :)
I love the local Bubs and have been looking for their Who Medley (5:01 or so?) everywhere! Thanks so much for posting this!
I think Sweet Caroline is my favorite song by the Bubs. They do an amazing job on all the songs for that matter! I hope they continue to sing wherever they go in life.
What I love about this group is they're not afraid to not be pretty. Their cover of the who was fantastic because it was so rough.
Matt McCormick all the way right now I'm listening to him sing 'come sail away' he is amazing!!!!! This is probably the 25th time in a row I am listening to him it's one if those songs u can't stop listening to and u never get tired if it. All cuz Matts singing it I LOVE him I would kill to meet him!!!!!!!
i will always love this, I loved watching them on the Sing Off
Face was My High School Choir Teachers band
13 people didn't like the Bubs...sigh.
They were the best last season, they should've won! There is so much tangible energy in their performances...they seem as if they are having the absolute time of their lives! I love seeing that in performances...
I was TEAM BUBS all the way. Good work, thanks for posting.

Bubs' beatboxer is unreal, so on point with every song.
love these guys!
This is a good upload thank you very much
They are so great. I hope I can see them live soon.
00:00 magical mystery tour 1:51 right round 3:30 come sail away 4:57 behind blue eyes 6:10 who are you 6:57 teenage wasteland 7:37 sweet caroline
@DerekXLhead-
Beatboxer- Alexander Koutzoukis
Singer of behind blue eyes- Matt McCormick
Singer of who are you- Eric Morrisay
Singer if sweet caroline- Penn Rosen
The guy with the glasses- I'm pretty sure it's Paul Alvarez
Their beat boxer is unbelievable. I've never heard such realistic spit-drumming since Rockapella
Absolutly in love with their performances!!!
Every time I need a pick me up, I watch this vid. They are such great performers and you just get the sense they are having the times of their lives...
These guys were excellent! Glad it came down to them and Nota for the end! Only if there was a season 2!
I absolutly LOVE that ending bass note of Sweet Caroline!!!!!
I loved them in every aspect!! They are awesome!!
The awesome thing about the Beelzebubs is that they are entertaining and have great stage presence but are ALSO extremely talented musicians :)
I love how they utilized the stage. I've seen a lot of there other videos that are posted on you tube. I really think they should have won.
I'm sorry, I heard their first song in this compilation, and for some reason, I just burst out laughing. Talented and hilarious.
You can find Matt's other project, All Out, on iTunes and on myspace. (On myspace their ID is AllOutMA) It's pretty impressive stuff.

the most beautiful and talented geeks everrrrr
ENVY!!!!
I'd die to sing with Matt or any of them..LUCKY!
join the club..i've got major crush on him too.what a sweet heart too.cant wait to see him and the bubs on the 5th its gonna be awesome
I love watching these guys perform. They are fun.
Months later, and I'm still watching these videos! Bubs are great, and I can say that this group in particular have a better sound than any of the recent Bubs at Tufts. I highly suggest you pick up their cd. It's so good!
Penn Rosen has such a nice voice! All of them do, but I suppose he just sung that last song so sweetly.
On THATS Penn... Thanks for clearing that up for me!
OMG AWESOMENESS EVERY NOTE!!!
LOVE THESE GUYS! I WANT MORE.
NOTA - winners of Season 1 are the best!!!!!
Just saw their new video for "All I Want For Christmas Is You" on their channel - NOTAVOCAL ... its AMAZZINNNGGGG
i love beelzebubs more than you will ever know
I got to see these guys live... and then they serenaded some girl in the audience for Sweet Caroline. Haha, I was so jealous of her! They're so amazing.

AWESOME STUFF!!!
This Is the best group ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
these guys make my life everytime i watch them :) they should totally guest star on glee!!
@careyellow completely and totally agree, Glee should use these guys! they'd fit the Warbler look perfectly and they're just as animated as any actors! :)
Anyone else love as much as l did the fact that when they did Baba O'Reilly this season the male lead had to kick to his falsetto? You are a man Matt McCormick...you are a man
LOVE these guys!
These guys are really good! They have a similar entertainment value as On The Rocks does this season.
@WarriorThirrin The Beelzebubs are out of Tufts and actually had CDs out before the Sing Off -- if you look up their university site, they have albums linked there. A decade later and I still don't understand how they didn't win
both groups did great...
@Neokitty55 They couldn't miss any more college, and their college is in Massachusetts, and Glee is filmed in California, so they had to just send recordings.
freaking awesome
I love It! They are so good! They have lots of Brazilian fans!!! Hope they can sing something in portuguese some day...
entertainment wise
Right Round was my favorite to watch cause its really funny.
vocal wise The Whoe Medley Matt's voice is insanely beautiful.
Thanks. Very good!
amazing!
@PokerJoker811 I agree that Nota went into the "Puerta Rican" music a little too often, but they out did the Beelzebubs on harmonies and overall talent and sound.. @luhne123 his name is Penn Rosen!! That's my favorite performance by the bubs my second is The Who melody!
They are amazing!!=)

I love it when they sing "Come Sail Away" :)
@twihardsuperfan321 the warblers only did the backing for blackbird. the bubs did all the background vocals for the other Warblers songs.
@purplekingroger All the ones last season, yeah. This season the Bubs aren't doing the Warblers songs anymore and you can reeeeeally tell.
great job on the compilation even though im for commited still a great job
On the first night when they sung mystery tour and Matt yelled, 'roll up roll up for the mystery tour step right this way!!' i knew these guys were gonna b funny (and my faves!!!!!)
Matt's face is sooooooo cute all the time. I have a huge crush on that kid.
@ambidreamz I think they had scheduling conflicts or something like that where the Beelxebubs weren't able to physically come to the set.
@tric4rtric4r they were going to, but Tufts (the uni they were from) was way too far away to film in LA every week so they just used their vocals :)
Matt is ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
@bobular1000---- his name is Alexander Koutoukis..... and
@coleymoly5----- his name is paul alvarez and i think the guy giving the lap dance is hoootttt!!!!
@Juvchan It's true that their arrangements are selling like crazy, but they aren't getting the recognition for it openly, most people don't realize that they are arranging them.
also, i think they are the real winners here, because Nota hasn't really done anything with their win. it's just like American Idol. Second place owns.
Thanks @hahaily.
What's the leads name who sung sweet Caroline??? I haven't seen him before but he's RELLY good!!!
The Beelzebubs are so charismatic, I love having this on my iPod, thank you! Do you think you could do this for the SoCals too?
The one who sang Sweet Caroline Is Penn Rosen.....these guys are all just so amazing... But my true inspiration is Eric Morrissey
Love these guys, they should have won.
if u guys think its amazing on video its INSANE in person and they are all soooooo nice. i was sooooo honored to see them. they didnt do Right Round or the Who medley though i was sad.
oh and at 7:01 Matt's face soooooo cute when he smiles. SWOOOON!
Kudos, dude.
thats what i was thinking but thanks for clarifying that
Definately agreed... I do have my favorites though...ae: Eric (of course), eli, Evan, Penn, nick, and Alex
magical mystery tour was the best song of the whole show...right behind is the who medley, and the jackson 5 medley by nota
so these are the guys who sung the background vocals for the warbles songs on glee. amazing voices, i can't get it that they done every sound with their MOUTHES!!! respect!!! such a shame that the guys doesn't appear on glee, they would fit to show.
@CWengerd95
Yes! Matt has always reminded me of Frodo

They did a masterful job on Magical Mystery Tour.
So much passion in the "Teenage Wasteland" song. :)
these guys are talented :)
@drumssoccer7 They're the recorded voices, not the actual actors on the show.
@bobular1000 If you go on their channel, there's a video of him singing All the Love In the World by Nine Inch Nails.
my theory is they are more musical theater..two are music majors and Matt (curly haired one) has been in 20 productions and there are so many of them it overwhelms some maybe thats why. i personally love these guys to bits especially Matt. those eyes and the voice, SWOON!..anyway thats just my thoughts.
OMG CSI SONGS
I heard they sang where is the love by the black eyed peas but i can't find it anywhere on youtube
100% agree. (with PokerJoker811)

@hahaily24 by the guy with the mic... do you mean the hot guy with the mic? just clearing that up for everyone.
Come Sail Away is my favorite -3
