    You made the building part look really simple, but if you are someone with not a lot of experience I can imagine it being kind of difficult to put together, especially the smaller pieces like the gems and such. As for this video being a tribute, that is very thoughtful and I hope that anyone else that appreciated your friend, will also see this video and fondly remember that person, since human memories unfortunately come and go or are misremembered, but pictures or videos such as this can last forever if properly preserved, and as someone who also made a tribute video for my brother who passed away, I can really relate to how difficult it must have been going through so many thoughts as you made your video, but the payoff is that other people will be able to see your dedication and effort, as not everyone has the capabilities of putting feelings into a video like this.

      My condolences about your brother. I'm really sorry to hear that. After I heard the news of his passing. I was devastated to the point that I felt like quitting on everything. It was so sudden. I wish I had more time to spend time with Joel. He had a lot of treatments, almost every week. I learned the news from my mom. I just didn't know what to do with myself. The last time I talked to him, he told me it will be cool I built that Mega Man X Zero Model Kit for a video. One of my strongest of him was that day when we built that Mega Man Zero model kit together on my birthday and his love of portable video games like the DS. I wanted to make this video the best I could for the memories of him. I broke down crying every time I worked on this video. I even break down crying at the end of video every time. But it felt good to work on the video too. I don't know how to explain it but it helped me though the emotions of it all. He help me out a lot of my videos and always gave me great feedback. So supportive on everything that I did on this channel and me as a artist. I missed my friend so much and I'm happy that I made this now. I didn't know what was the right thing to do or what was appropriate for me to do at the time. I even thought about not even sharing it. But I thought of what Joel would've wanted for me to do. Thank you for this comment and I really appreciate the love and support from you. Thank you for the advice about the smaller pieces too. I'll keep that in mind for next time I do a GunPla type video in the future.

      @@knucklemasterE57 My condolences to you too, but yeah life can be very difficult if you have no proper ways of dealing with things. My middle brother passed away in his sleep, after a long battle with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and a couple of other mental disorders, that put both his mental health and physical health at risk, my mom did what she could considering she isn't that well in health either, and my dad who used to help take care of him had unfortunately passed away 3 years ago too, so she was left to work with my bro on her own as I lived pretty far as well as any other family members.
      The day of my middle brother's passing, has got to be one of the hardest days I have ever lived in my life, and that was because I was just confused and shocked and didn't know how to feel, since my family had a long history of being dysfunctional, we didn't have the same level of closeness as in normal families, and even to this day I don't know how to properly process emotions and such, I mostly deal with things in a logical sense which is why I rarely freeze during events that would make other people freeze.
      But because I didn't have uncontrollable crying like my mother did, when my eldest brother arrived, he looked at me with a look of disgust and hate, and it was so strong that I almost even left the house when it happened, but before I did he caught me and tried consoling my mom. I took 2 weeks off of work and I stayed with my mom, so that I could at least be there for her since I just fail at comforting people due to my lack of emotions, and in the time that I was at her house, I collected all the polaroids and old pictures that were not digitalized of my middle brother, and I digitalized them while going through a lot of thoughts and emotions, and I then decided to make a memorial video with all that I had, and I even chose video game music of my brother's favorite games such as a few Kingdom Hearts songs such as the Dearly Beloved and etc. And I even made a folding card that was Superman themed with his picture as Superman, where I talked about my brother and what I remembered of him and how I looked up to him since to me he was my hero, and his favorite hero was Superman, and even though it took a lot of work and effort and I have to admit to crying sometimes, I did what I could as I was pretty much short on time since I had to make it before the funeral, I am glad that I did however because I distributed the card during the funeral and I even uploaded it as well as the video to a One Drive location, so that even those that could not physically see him at the funeral, would have some way to remember him by, and that is what I did to tribute my brother, and how I basically tried to cope with things.
      My eldest brother on the other hand, since he had no artistic talent, and due to his managerial roles and such at work, he had no time to do anything so he did nothing but buy some flowers, and the crazy guy even brought alcohol to both the funeral and burial, and on top of that he was making my mom and I feel bad as he was just shifting blame around for what happened to my middle bro. Even to this day he still won't let go of things and makes my mom feel bad, but after a huge confrontation from myself, he started seeking therapy and I have seen some behavioral improvements, but I still can't be in the same room as him, so my point with all of this is, that every person just has a different way to deal with things, and there is really no right way of doing things, I just think that whatever people want to do, especially if you want to pay tribute to someone, that it needs to come from the heart for it to truly matter, and I think my eldest brother just did all he did in order to vent or something, since he may have felt guilty or powerless, and I can't really blame him for his actions even though they were hurtful.

      @@knucklemasterE57 Thanks for the concern, time is the only cure for a wounded heart, but even though I have lost many people close to me, I just have to keep fighting, because life is precious, and even though things can get difficult and out of hand, I strongly believe that there is no challenge that the human mind cannot overcome, and if you set your sights on something you will eventually acquire it, as long as you work hard on that desire and never give up, which is the reason why mental health is so important, since it just influences your whole being, and this includes everything from your body to even your soul, but unfortunately some people don't properly take care of themselves, and its because of mental health, since they don't believe that they are in a bad situation or they don't see it, and even if other people point it out to them they still don't see it, and this is because their perspective is narrow minded or twisted, and they are clouded from the truth, but in order to truly help those people you just have to never give up on them, and only offer help to them, because you cannot force your help on them as that will just push them away, since a lot of these folks are scared or distrustful, and that might be due to past experiences, and for them to get better they need to want it from the bottom of their hearts, so that they take their own initiative to improve and keep at it, as well as learn to overcome their limits and become stronger.
      These are some of the things that I have learned during my life, which is why whenever I can I try to pass my wisdom forward, hoping that somehow I can make a difference, even if it is just helping someone make the next step.

    Nice, few tips I would give using the hobby knife to clean the nubs and marks, as long you cut/scrap along the piece (take it slow, its really sharp), you can minimize the damge to the piece, i know that people preffer using a file to sand it down, but depending on the file or piece size, you mostly damage it the piece or leave discoloring, than just using the tip of the hobby knife.
    ALSO "cuticle pliers" can also do amazing work to both cut from runners and cleaning nubs due their edges being really smaller and pointier than most normal pliers and hobby pliers, in most cases you can even avoid cleaning with just them. (and they are cheap and durable, i have one i bought years ago just for gunpla and still sharp and reliable, and so, you can avoid the horror stories of expensive hobby pliers breaking from just cutting plastic).

      @knucklemasterE57  9 месяцев назад

      Thank you so much for the amazing advice. I'll keep that in mind for next time. I'm still learning my craft at this hobby and I can't wait to make more videos like this in the future.

    • @Kurokami-One
      @Kurokami-One 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@knucklemasterE57 You welcome, the tips I left are things that I learned over time due gunpla and model building not being wide spread on my country (Brazil) so you do with what you can get (hobby knife and the cuticle pliers being more afordable and easy of access than specialized gear and usefull for begginners to learn handcrafts).
      Saddly in case of panel linning i don't have much advice since official pens are really expensive and most of time you need to do a really good research on the type of ink vs plastic (some inks can make plastic brittle or corrode it x.x) and in some cases you need treat pieces to let the ink settle and protect it, so yeah a whole anothe can of worms in the world of gunpla and model crafting.
      in any case, wish ya good luck on your builds :D

    I think it’s GunPla (Gun-Pluh, or Gundam Plastic), not GunPlay, but whatever rocks your boat
    Also, would’ve been fitting to build Eastern Model’s Megaman Zero first
    Recommendations for next Gunpla though would be any of these if you get them:
    - RG ν & Hi-ν Gundams
    - RG G Gundam
    - HG Moon Gundam
    - HG RX-78-2 Beyond Global

      @@knucklemasterE57 Yeah, I believe Zero is a big fan of Pandora because she has almost similar to Zero's fighting style. also, I know it's an easter egg in that video but I am married to Pandora [it's a joke btw or not. :)]

      Which Zero? I feel like Zero from Mega Mam X is about 6' 4" like me lol and Mega Man Zero is like 5 foot long sub.

      @@knucklemasterE57 Well according to the mega man wiki, he is 175 cm slightly taller than X.
      And in zero series he is not really short though judging by how he is taller than most of the resistance members especially ones with little beard on their chin slightly.
      And according to the mega man wiki Elpizo's page, Elpizo is a tall young man and shorter than Zero.
      So Zero is likely 180 cm or 5'11 slightly shorter than you lol

      @@adhamahmed97 Wow, I didn't know that at all! Lmao you learn something new everyday. 🤣 Thank you for explaining about Zero's height. I figured Zero from Mega Man X would be taller and stronger and make a great dynamic comparison to Mega Man Zero in a fight during the outro.
