Las Vegas & Seattle would great to see NBA in for the 1st time / to make a return for them IMO but I do think that they should be at 32 teams by the end of the current decade
Bring the NBA back to Seattle, Vancouver, Las Vegas, and Pittsburgh (if not Pittsburgh-Kansas City instead). Move New Orleans, Memphis, and Minnesota while including Pittsburgh or Kansas City to the Eastern Conference to balance both conferences out. Everyone is happy
Two easy choices that’ll happen in the near future. 1.) Seattle 2.) Vancouver Both great basketball markets that the NBA has since regretted abandoning.
@@rushrush1209 granted with the Climate Pledge Arena (old key arena) being fully renovated right to the studs makes Seattle very viable for a team soon! However them both being in the PNW makes a case for Vancouver to be back in the NBA a lot MORE compelling. One of the main reasons for that is if you take a look at the map of all NBA franchises/ locations you’ll notice there’s a huge gap of only the Portland franchise in a large area (nearly a 1/4 of the entire NBA map) By having both Seattle and Vancouver back in the NBA again not only do you re create a terrific Cascade rivalry (which is great for the league) but now a city like Portland becomes a lot more enticing with signing key free agents which is something that market in particular has struggled with as they have by far the most travel on any NBA team. Two teams with already established fanbases in proximity to Portland would drastically cut the travel down. Vancouver and Seattle both have either brand new or a top 10 stadium in capacity, both stadiums are immediately ready to play in, both have great transit accessibility getting to their respective stadiums, both cities have a high density population (especially Vancouver) and both cities have really high GDP’s. Keep in mind both cities have large corporations and potential sponsorships that are both headquartered in their respective cities with alot of high end wealth for stable ownership. Realistically for that, and for many other reasons I CANT SEE how the NBA is going to pass up on Seattle and Vancouver. Also commissioner Silver and the late David Stern have had a lot of regret the NBA abandoning those markets (you can even find silver talking about the regret on pulling the plug on Vancouver) both cities should be no brainers for the league if it’s trying to maximize its popularity and revenue.
Tbh 2 teams is not enough imo, I think they need to expand to 4, Vegas and Seattle for sure have to be 2 and I think Montreal and Kansas should be the other 2
You could still have the voting and the normal all stars named. Just have the actual game as USA v World with separate squads announced. If it doesn't work and players still don't try, who cares. It can't be any worse than what it is at the moment.
If NBA wants to be global I hope someday NBA will expand outside north america, 4 cities in europe(Madrid,Barcelona,Paris,Berlin) 4 cities in Asia Oceania (Tokyo,Seoul,Manila,Melbourne)
@@StarboundUK NBA players are the cream of the top of worldclass athletes. Those things will not bother them,, game schedules because of the travel i think might be the main problem unless they make the games fewer or make the season longer

I understand that every major sport has a Toronto team (-NFL) but can someone please explain to me how it is called The National Basketball Association yet allowing a team of the United States of America? I'm not getting all "America" on anyone, it's a legit question I've always wondered and I'm 42.
If 2 western teams join only 1 western team needs to move west to keep 16-16 and most likely Minnesota as it's in the middle of nowhere among western cities so joining Chicago, and Indianapolis in the central Division makes the most sense. Memphis is already close to Texas and New Orleans,
Option 1) Add Las Vegas and one team from Canada (Vancouver?) or Canada (Mexico City) Option 2) Add Las Vegas and Kansas City And move the Pelicans and Grizzlies to the Eastern Conference.
Make the Charles Barkley Phoenix Suns playoffs run, up until Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls available on NBA subscription. Watching playoff replays games from the last 10 years where teams are just jacking up 3s thinking they are Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Are just too boring basketball to watch in todays cupcake era basketball.
I recently thought of a great idea for the all-star game. Just keep it east vs. west, but stop with the vote system. Just have the 2 best players from each team, and the starting lineup could be determined by who is on winning teams
Im not even feeling basketball divisions. I don't like east vs west. I like football two conferences with two east and west and south and norths. Like republican and democrat. Basketball seem incomplete plus they don't play above the rim no more no more dribbling plus fake fouls all over and they jus chuck shots. Too many internationals dominating. I use to like basketball more than football not no more. And baseball too is horrible now baseball need steroids and a real south division no love in the south with baseball blacks cant be in baseball and no south love.

Las Vegas & Seattle would great to see NBA in for the 1st time / to make a return for them IMO but I do think that they should be at 32 teams by the end of the current decade

I don't think both will get a team, since they are both real close geographically. Seattle has a new arena, so they have a great chance.

Seattle Super Sonics and Las Vegas Cobras make their debut while they move pelicans or grizzles to the east
We don't want either of em lol
You can only move pelicans or Memphis. The numbers would be off if you did it that way.

Seattle and Vancouver! Yes please!
Seattle and Vegas expansion and then a team relocating to Vancouver.
