Entire India mourned on two incidents in recent times, it was first when apj Abdul Kalam died, and now 2nd time with Ratan Tata death. Both were proud sons of India
Late Shri Ratan Tata is truly a precious Diamond, shining for us in India. We must build a 'Monument of Memories' in his honour, reminding every generation of Indians of a man who was an Industrialist, a Philanthropist loved by everyone.
he comes from a parsi community which are just in thousands in India . They originally came from persia 1500-2000 years ago and there is a saying that when zoroastrians came to India at the Gujarat coast to seek refuge the king ruling that part of India said to them that the territory is full as a glass of milk . The cheif of the refugee tribe then added sugar in the glass and said that the parsi community will mix with them as the sugar gets mixed in milk and increases its sweetness. The king was impressed and gave them refuge .Despite being few in numbers in india or around the world their contribution in Indias development and history is very big ranging from nuclear science to business. TATA is one of the finest example . Sir Ratan Tata will always be remembered with respect for his contribution to the society and humanity as whole .

This is only because till now I have so many books , toys , 8 mm projector reels, LP record of his and his step brother Noel Tata. I received this from my grandmother who was the Nany to Noel Tata ( current bearer of Tata group) I have so many stories from my granny since I was a kid about Mr. JRD Ratan and Noel Tata and his step mother Simon Tata. As a kid I got some of the upbringing as I played with their toys and read their Novels and books watched their collection of 8mm movies. Your sincere and soulful tribute to the passing of such a remarkable individual moved me deeply. Your connection to India and its values, despite being far away, is truly admirable. He was the guy who loved by millions but loved very less by own family when he was child hos parents got divorced and he and his brother stayed with his grandmother ... Ratan Tata and his brother (Jimmy ) never got married .... He fell in love with a girl from US and she was supposed to come to India, it was 1962 when China attacked India and US media showed it like China will going to destroy India so her parents didn't allowed her to come India and after that he never got married Both brothers live simple life his brother's networth is $500 million USD and living in a small 2BHK appartment in Mumbai alon He is so humble that he openly accepted on interview that it's true that being single has given him freedom from his responsibility but still many times he feels alone without companion First time I was completely meltdown on unknown person when i saw video of hime celebrating his birthday alon with his secretary with only a cupcake and he was still happy 😢 ... After having so much loneliness in his life he never stopped for betterment of society
In my CV and every interview questionnaire, I mention his name as my ideal personality. I got to know about him in 2014 when I read about his biography. His entire life is an inspiration. ❤❤ There are many billionaire in india but TATA won the country's heart. A man with zero haters. 😊😊
Read about JRD Tata & Jamshedji Tata too. Infact Jamshedji Tata started Tata Steel in Jamshedpur after he met Swamy Vivekananda on a ship & when Vivekananda expressed that Indians should make their own products. At that time, The British were taking iron ore (ofcourse for free) from India & exporting steel back. Tata Steel went on to become the BEST steel producer in the world at that time.
Zuzanna, very touched by your sincere love & admiration for one of India's truly genuine heroes. It is no surprise that appreciation & respect for such a man transcends nationality, race, class, gender, or religion. Nor should it be surprising that a woman from distant Slovakia would learn about him & create a vlog of his passing. Well done!
I am extremely proud that I had an opportunity to work in a TATA company. Sir Ratan TATA is a man with no haters. Very rare, as he comes from business background and in that world it is all about money. He is an exception. He was not just a business man, he was a great Industrialist with a vision, a nationalist, a philanthropist, a humanitarian and a thorough gentleman. I am totally lost during last few days since I heard his passing away. We Indians deeply respect him and will never forget him and his contributions to Indian industry and India as a country and its people.
So many philosophies talk of giving back to society, being human etc. He upheld all those spirits at a personal level and also ensured that his companies do the same. He is an inspiration.
A true compassionate soul not only for humankind but also for animals, I want to share two few examples of it (1) In 2018 price Charles (now king) invited him for Life Time Achievement Award at Buckingham Palace, London everything was set but suddenly 2-3 days before he cancelled his trip because one of his beloved dog Tengo and Tito had fallen ill gravely so he refused to come and decided to stay with his dog .... And prince Charles was amazed with it and said "that's a true man Ratan is that's why TATA house is still exist" (2) Another famous example of is in Taj Hotel , one of the prestigious hotel of india even stray dogs are allowed to move freely and stay in it not only in his hotel's but also in head office of TATA group
Ancestors of the Tata family migrated to India from Persia, now Iran, in the 8th century AD. They were part of a large group of Parsis (people from Persia), a Zoroastrian ethnic community, who fled persecution during the Islamic Conquest of Persia.

And TATA's made India their home, and are pioneer of Industrial revolution in India, and are very respected business house. India has been enriched generally by presence of Persian community in India and particularly by TATA's.
