Vlog of my journey traveling through Fiji on my huge adventure trip.
Day 2 of Fiji I'm still in quarantine I did some freediving training in the pool as I wasn't allowed out. I had to then take my rapid antigen test to be given the approval to leave quarantine. Basically just ate pizza and did some editing.
Day 3 I was set free and headed down to Sigatoka for 5 days expecting great visibility. Sadly the impacts of the recent cyclone and then the volcanic eruption in Tonga caused mini tsunamis to hit the coast of Fiji and stir up even more stuff from the bottom reducing visibility. On arrival, I could see that the ocean still wasn't favorable so I chilled by the pool writing a book (I know its a hard life)
Day 4 I finally go for a dive not expecting much but I just absolutely needed to get wet. I went for a dive and it wasn't productive due to the poor conditions. So I went to Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park and Biausevu Waterfall to end an awesome day.
There is a lack of actual GoPro content because my GoPro decided to eat 3 days of footage.
Standby for Kadavu coming next for decent spearfishing and adventuring.
Over the past 5 years now I have made the commitment to no longer buy fish, so I only eat the fish I catch. Spearfishing is the most sustainable form of fishing on the planet, it is also the most environmentally friendly form of fishing.
