10 speeds transmission came out in 2018 this mustang is most likely a 2015 or 16 but to see it ran with this truck shows you how good those overhead cam engines really are that's although they may not be the ideal engine to race back to back every night but man you got in it it was pretty sick

Not rockin it either ripped t150 plum n half which not real big trans but wow. Put ti5 4 with bull dog or mule , Granny first. Then it was unstoppable. Bury speedometer when every u want think reg 90 with another mark 100. Peg it straight down gas or Temp gauge blow past it. My buddy was catching up with me and we got to my house he says I had u back when we pulled out I was in 4 hi done blew spiders out there webs in rear so I was taking it home pull out 4 hi give it the floor it's spinning like Honda Civic in rice patty well close to mile he's coming up on me we're about 110 mph punch it old blue was gone he said I thought I was getting u big boy that jeep ain't so tough. Then he said got close seen that u just let off. Lol he said u mashed er peeled a wheel at high speed front and dusted my ass. The good ole days. Stay safe y'all keep rubber on the road any road .

Balanced and blue printed 430 hp.. it was John Deere Green, and under the hood green as well with yellow accents🔥 a lift, and 35 inch swamper boggers.. ox-locker front end and Detroit locker rear…. She is mean.!! that’s for sure.

I could use a truck like this, and its cheaper than most cars- base models at least. If just a regular or extra cab, lighter than or equal to many cars. Drag coefficient sucks but that price you gotta pay for having a badass truck. Way to circumvent THAT too: more power. A nasty lowered, supercharged chevy/ford or other is much more unique than standard modded cars. ✌️
Oh yea! I was the proud owner of a 93 C1500 Reg Cab Silverado Sport/Chrome. I bought new with the chrome sport package that came with chrome grill, bumpers, mirrors and door handles and the same chrome wheels as the 454 SS C1500, plus the same interior with every option. Only mine was metallic silver with grey interior. Powered from the factory with the 5.7 200/320 V8, with 5 speed stick, through a 4:10 I had installed with a Detroit Locker, mostly because of all the snow we got, but it helped towing and off the line when required. Right after a nice break In period and the warranty ran out, I had an Edlebrock SuperCharger installed, with long tube wrapped headers and a camshaft that allowed for a fatter tq curve and high rpm hp gains. I have to tell you I loved looking for Mustangs and Firebirds to go up against. The most surprised driver was the owner of a Buick Grand National, that ended up spending a couple grand to out run me! I ran that truck for years with no issues and worked it hard, towing boats and trailers. The only issue ever was the rear only ABS brakes at the time. That when towing, mostly in the rain and snow would cause the rear brakes to back off as designed, but make the fronts lock up, especially with surge brakes on the trailer! I’ll tell you the first time that happened was coming up on a Toll Booth! Where that God I wasn’t going very fast, but I came to a stop just inches passed the window, with the drivers side front wheel against the curb, locked up! You should have seen the look on the Toll takers face! From then on whenever I towed any trailer I would pull the fuse from the ABS, but because the dash light came on, I ended up wiring a switch so I could shut it off only when I needed.
I guess I'm old let's just take guess out of the picture but it's weird that a pick up be it Chevy ford dodge built like a box square being able to keep up with something that is aerodynamic built to compensate for wind and drag and all the horse power is strange 😵💫 Remember when truck's we're built for one thing work. And you didn't pick up a girl in a truck times have changed and definitely weird now you can say race and there's no telling what your going to come up against. I keep waiting for somebody to show up in a ugly Yugo or the Thing. Can you imagine one of those holding up and supporting an LS or a coyote 😂🤣

Not all trucks are boats. My 90 f150 only weighs 3600 lbs. After swapping the tired 300 for a mild built 302 she is plenty of fun to drive. Will be better once install my 4.56s and I swap the Mazda 5 speed for a ZF5 cause I'll be able to actually drive it without worrying about scattering my tail housing.

I'm rolling with a Mustang GT 5.0 premium (2018), slightly modified for now. This was a dope race to watch, respect to both vehicles! Crazy to see what some trucks out there are capable of doing if you put enough work on them.

Either an LS swap or modern fuel injection on a small block Chevy and some sound deadening on the interior and you have a much better vehicle than the new stuff. Throw in a head unit with CarPlay/Android auto and you’re good. Plus, you have way more pride and have more fun with something you built instead of something you just drove off off a lot with.

I miss my 89 swb with my 383 swap. I wrecked it clipping my rim on the curb doing drifting donuts in a cul-de-sac. The Harris county sheriff was very impressed and only gave me a ticket for failure to maintain lanes.

at the end of the day the mustang is still only 5 liters smaller displacement 6.0 should've pulled on him so if anybody needs respect on there name it's the mustang that LS was over there coughing up blood trying to keep up
