She's has had a lot of hits since and often hosts Country Music Awards Shows. You may have seen her in a tv commercial advertising those awards shows. She's still top of the charts. She may have done a duo with a rapper. I know she did one with Keith Urban (country). I prefer other music genres myself but there are some gems out there.... like this one. Thanks for reviewing.

Reba Mcentire's "The Nights the Lights went out in Georgia", "Does he Love you", or "Is there Life out there"

You want to see what kind of range she has?? How Great Thou Art with her and Vince Gill. I promise you will not only hear the best ever version of the song. You will also feel it in a way you never felt it before! She has incredible talent and is about bad ass as any country singer (male or female) out there. Prepare yourself to be blown away!
Three more of Carrie's you should check out that nobody has mentioned are: 1. "Walk This Way" with Mick Jagger; "I Know You Won't" & 3. " What I Never Knew I Always Wanted". In #1, she totally holds her own with the rock legend. The 1st of 3 times I saw her in concert, she did #2 next to last (before ending with "Blown Away"). This was a genius move because she'd been singing her butt off for 2 hours & needed to rest a bit. She sat down for this one. Although, it is a more gentle song, it is no less difficult & beautiful vocally. In #3, she goes into her personal life, her husband & kids. It shows who she really is. Many know her for her darker hits (those are Carrie playing around), but this is the real Carrie!
Here's a recommendation and i am only recommending it because of her vocal range in this song. It was a live performance and her vocal range was perfection, in my opinion. She sang How great thou art ft. Vince Gill. I really think you will like it. To answer your question, you probably remember her from her American Idol days.

Yes!!! She's the football lady and I miss Bocephus doing it lol, simply because I'm not use to her singing it still. I was a teenager when this song came out and I felt like a true badass when I heard it. I hope you go down the rabbit hole. She really does have an incredible voice. You should check out Miranda Lambert's song "Tin Man" or "Vice". Or if you want to keep it true to "crazy", "Mama's Broken Heart" is a must. Hell, Miranda has a whole lot of crazy now that I think about it!! Either way, they're a powerhouse.
