Not sure if she was really cheated on, it's a story, there's a prequel to this song that tells a story of her marrying the guy whose last name she didn't know. He and the red truck are both in the song Last Name.
Wow Carry Underwood has some pipes, and lets not forget about Vince Gill he has one of the purest tenor voices and so much soul, this is just pure joy to listen too. Here's another female country music artist that I feel sure you will also enjoy giving listen "Sarah Evans - Suds In The Bucket (Official Video)" and this one isn't as sad as some other country tunes you've heard. Guys,if you want to run wild,just be up front about it.There are some women that will accept that,but the are not the ones you want.If you have a good woman,tell her,show her,and shower her with your love! If you want a brand new release by a female country singer, try Megan Moroney's "The Girl in the Mirror." She's pretty new to the national scene, but she has a top-25 single out as well in Tennessee Orange. Be prepared, it's pretty touching

All 3 verses are different and cleverly written. Only the chorus is the same, which is how songs are written. Sorry dude, your observation/ comment about it being repetitive is not valid. Also none of it is sung with true malicious intent ... it's very tongue-in-cheek, and Carrie doesn't even frown or look angry as she's singing it. It's not promoting vandalism, snd anyone that thinks it is, is missing the point/joke. A lof of guys who watch this video, seem intimidated by a strong, independent woman who won't put up with a lousy guy's sh*t.
