Great video as usual. Love seeing all the different things a trucker endures during his day - even the rejected pallet story. Your positive attitude in dealing with the frustration of the pallet return is awesome. Looking forward to the next video - be safe out there.

Yea Smithfield is bad for keeping drivers I know I used to work shipping and receiving at Smithfield here in my hometown but it's mostly a quality thing.
I was thinking the same thing as you were inspecting that 2021 trailer, it's in good shape considering all the miles on it. That's kind of a bummer that you can't record in the shipping office anymore. We didn't get to see much of your family, darn it....and no cooking?
@@CindyinArizona the trailer was definitely spectacular for the year. And yeah unfortunately it was really late and they were sleeping already I actually drove the whole night so I was pretty exhausted more cooking coming soon hopefully 😃 thank you for watching and the continued support since day one 🙏

I'm surprised we dont see more swift refrigerated trailers out there bc they undercut everyones prices and run loads for next to nothing like CR england does. And bc that blue beacon and the Smithfield are obviously in business together for making every driver get a washout just for the receipt without even looking in the trailer i would get a washout somewhere else in route just to spite them. I've picked up from the Smithfield in tar heel,nc about three times and never had a problem but i have heard some horror stories about that place and now yours. Two days for a load? Wow. My fm would have gotten me another load. Be safe out there. One more thing. Instead of crawling to the dock under 5mph just use PC. I do it quite a bit especially in those situations. Its my best friend under tight circumstances time wise.
@@thetexastrucker7934 yeah they definitely undercut Primes requesting prices that’s for sure in every meat plant 🤦🏼♂️ sucks for us but it’s better to not haul cheap freight out here! Yeah it’s definitely agreeable they send every driver to wash out a trailer just with a few wood chips 😂 💯 yeah my FM is usually good at getting me out of there if it takes more than 8hrs or some sort of delay but that was a while back last year I sat and waited. I wait a lot at Tyson JBS or Smithfield smh and sometimes cargill is bad too. I use PC Often 😂 I try and not get caught and get in trouble or turned off. Take care ✌️
Hey bro, I’m wondering if they gave you a service failure for not having the trailer wash out receipt before showing up to the shipper? I’m always worried about that lol
That is so cool you Have blue lights in your truck too I bet when you eat food you have to keep the truck idling otherwise it’ll probably shut off after a while right what if the engine idles down when you’re cooking that could be bad

@@ivanbenitez4475 good question it’s luck being the right place at the right time and getting good paying loads honestly few months before was terrible but it’s getting better this week I’ll be making around 1800-2000 take home before tax as far as talking psd students you make extra $400 a week while they are on your truck before they pass their cdl test after that you will have to pay them 900 or more during tnt phase so even if you make a lot you still pay the student a lot not to mention you need to always keep your truck full of fuel because you both run 500 miles per shift which full tanks gets you around 1000-1200 miles depending on how you driving I try and run at 62 for better mpg 🤷♂️
