the shift you talked about while discussing sally rooney was spot on. i’ve read all her books as well, and imo normal people and conversations with friends are the kind of books you literally devour, and finish before you even realise. however i feel like beautiful world where are you took the complexity and maturity of her writing to another level. it definitely less of an easy read, and you’ll find yourself rereading pages or stopping to think about things you just read, but without losing the captivating nature of her other, ‘easier’ to digest books. it was my personal favorite of hers. i always enjoy your book reviews so much, and i’d love to see a video fully dedicated to them!!

When you are i Copenhagen, i heavenly recommend you to visit the street called Værnedamsvej! On that street you will find the best Café’s!! They are too die for 😻😻😻 especially Granola (there avocado toast and hot chocolate are chef kiss 🤌🏼💋) and Italo Caffé (best panini’s ever). Also Les Trois Cochons.. such a cool Parisian ish vibe🍵 You will not regret it, I promise 🙏🏼☀️
Léon L’Africain and Samarcande by Amin Maalouf are definitely two french-language books worth diving into, as you mentioned in your last video you wanted to get back into more francophone oriented literature. One book i’d also recommend would be The Forty Rules Of Love by Elif Shafak :)

I’m mostly veggie and eat fish every now and then :) I just like to try different things when I eat out but I cook mostly veggie/vegan at home! Eating normal for me means no meat and as little animal products as possible it just makes me feel best
