Well, much better, those washing machines turned out to be very good in terms of quality and they don't take long to wash compared to these recent rubbish washing machines and the new ones from Whirlpool. A thousand times better than Whirlpool Direct Drive washing machines!!!
No sabia que este modelo fuera tan lento para lavar extrañado por que. Las lavadoras de lg en su mayoria. Son muy buenas. Pero este modelo fue la excepción.
What's really needed is a custom setting where you can set everything. Cycle length, water temp, etc. All the included cycles have something I would prefer to adjust.
I purchased an LG impeller top load model last week. Ran clothes all weekend to see how it worked. I need a model with an agitator similar to this. I have pets so lot of pet hair on clothing. Traditional washers used to immediately go into spin while still full of water so hair and other small particles were more likely to be flushed out with the rinse water. These new models sit still while draining which will leave the pet hair and other particles still there on the clothes. I think that's a weakness in the design but I understand what they have chosen this approach.
I purchased that whirlpool 2 in 1 impeller with the removal agitator. All of these should be demolished. It's pure garbage. I had homedepot come back and get that waste of what they call a new technology washer. Pure garbage and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Save and buy you a Speed Queen or find you a used appliance store and buy you a regular washer. I promise you will be happier and definitely satisfied...
This is where I would have like to see Fisher & Paykel going with a direct drive motor and spiral agitation, and 1,100 rpm spin. Unfortunately they sold out to Haier, that's the day I didn't want to be involved anymore. I'm Dean's washer video's channel.
It looks very effective with this delicate cycle. I wonder how it would handle three pair of jeans with the regular cycle? Would you need to use Deep Fill to get enough water on them? Thanks for the vid.
My only two setting I use , is deep fill for blues and bedding for sheets , 5 of them and pillow cases , watch for jeans , always 3 pairs with shirts and sweaters, two jeans tends to be together and shirts on one side, causing imbalance when spinning, adding a third jeans, helps it . Or just stop it after water is emptied and fix the load, I’ve done that too, good luck, I’m tempted to use delicate cycle for one blanket this weekend. ….
It is because areas like California the southwest US have water supply issues, so they are designing washers to use less water. They do not want to build multiple designs for different parts of the US, so we all get the water saver model regardless. Some people just have a bug up their butts to make everything political.

The soap is in the tub. I put the soap in the tray at 0:23 . Once the machine starts the water goes into the tray and mixes with the soap, then goes into the tub. I am using a HE (High Efficiency) soap. HE detergents are developed as low-sudsing and quick-dispersing cleaners for use in low-water volume machines. The HE detergents are specially formulated to hold soil in suspension in that lower volume of water, so it is not re-deposited onto clean clothes. HE laundry detergent does not create a lot of visible soap suds.
I have to tell thank you for saving us two thosand and change. What a horrible washing machine. I continue to say is everyone watching the same thing. My cheap RV portable washing machine had more agitation. Can anyone suggest a washing machine for someone who has kids and pets.
I have 4 kids and the clothes do come clean. The cycle on this video is supposed to be gentle, hence it is called Delicate Cycle. I never use this cycle. There are other cycles that wash more aggressively.
Yeah. Sounds as if something is wrong with their unit. I had a newer model LG top lead, and it was quiet as a mouse. That grinding noise is a sure sign something is wrong with the machine in the video.
I don't understand this machine and others like it. It's like it's making it up as it's going along. What's the purpose if it's spinning around and pausing? This is horrible.
They call it a G-force soak. Water pressure increases while spinning around, forcing fabrics to take in as much as water as possible. Pointless if you ask me.
@@MZ90255 You know what that sounds like to me? It's seems like they designed a washer that followed all the new rules and regulations. Once they were done they said "ok, let's make this make sense...."
I’m going to be keeping my 17 year old direct drive whirlpool, it’s nothing fancy but it works.

I never use the dispenser for detergent. That way I do not have to worry about it clogging. I just add it to the wash tub.
Great tip.. I have an lg top load too. Only had it a few months, but that's what I'll start doing instead of using detergent dispenser.

@Michael Robinson With, or with out Turbo Wash 3D enabled? Also, what soil level would you like me to use?
@Michael Robinson ok. I should be able to have that uploaded a week or so after the holiday.
Did a nice job.
THIS IS THE BEST WASHING MACHINE EVER
This machine is a case of “ well it’s not that easy. It’s more complicated than that.”.
It looks very effective with this delicate cycle. I wonder how it would handle three pair of jeans with the regular cycle? Would you need to use Deep Fill to get enough water on them? Thanks for the vid.

I also use deep fill for whites, not just for blues….
I meant I use deep wash for blues and whites , no deep fill , as deep wash really fills the tub accordingly
Nice, now we need a dryer run lol
I loved watching this, very colourful!
What is the purpose of doing several spins in both directions in the wash?
I think that's how it agitates clothes by forcing water to rush through the clothes, and dislodging the dirts
Don’t like it not taking the clothes down
All the videos i see with this washer and nobody uses fabric softener why?
Broke. Spent all their money on buying the machine.
Because fabric softener is HORRIBLE. it ruins machines, clothes, your skin, and gets all thick and disgusting after 45 days of it sitting there.
Speed queen is a good one
Small as capacity is the reason I did not buy one.
The tree huggers/libs are the reason we have these crazy washers today. This one looks way better than the impeller type, though.
