Great views of my first house ( which I watched being built on green fields.) over-looking the Station. I bought it so I could watch trains from my Bedroom. And so I could commute to Brum every day.
@@miniature-airlines Class 52 on Clay trains was common. Plus Peaks (45s) diverted when they closed the main line to Cardiff from Brum. Steam trains being delivered to SVR was another, and Steel Trains to Brierly Hill Steel works and freight yard. All now distant memories.
This reminds me of the many single road engine sheds that were spread around the country in steam days. Perhaps home for an 0-6-0T or a 2-4-0T or a 0-4-2T. Scenes that will never return. As to your question - probably.
Thanks for the info! There was a very small depot in the breakwater in Holyhead back in the 80s but haven't seen a depot as small as this since!! Thanks for watching 👀
@@miniature-airlines I ought to have explained that these were branch lines which were closed over many years, not necessarily after the Beeching report.

Nice one! It seems a really nice area too 👍

Wow. Great memories. Would loved to have seen the westerns running
Watch trains from your bedroom. Best reason ever for buying a house.
It's probably the smallest depot now, BUT Sheep Pasture on the Cromford & High Peak Railway was smaller. It could only be accessed by rail.
I've not heard of that one
Smallest depot, shortest branch line in the country and smallest unit to serve it.
Yep. That just about sums it up 👍

Thar was a little before my train days but must of been great to see so many railways before they closed them
Wheres George. I would have thought there would be a shot of the main attraction. @TheStourbridge
I had no idea what you meant until I googled George 🤣 . Not sure you'd see him from the air but it would have been great to see him
Not even a depot- just a hut
🤣🤣
