@azeria1 But new Hong Lu doesn't have a Glut guard, and his skills actively don't give Rupture (while still consuming it) after there is a certain amount of it.
I keep saying this to everyone The reason why Rupture Supports are in a weird state, and why Gluttony is such a rare skill nowadays Its Red Sheet Sinclair fault, he broke the game
@@puenboy1because the lccb Ryoshu passive wording could be interpreted as what it currently is. The pre-nerf state was, according to PM, unintended. Meanwhile, as broken as it is and how much PM probably wishes to change it, the current Talismanclair probably works as originally intended
I feel it's also why there hasn't been many IDs that give a ton of Rupture count by comparison to other statuses (like Ring Outis for Bleed or Zwei W. Sinclair and Yurodivy Ryoshu for Tremor). Since they know that most bosses will get melted in a few (not including phase transitions) due to the pure damage nature of Rupture (don't need to worry about resistances like Sinking or Tremor). Rupture was always a strong statues, probably one of the best in the game but held back by the amount of hoops you have to jump through to get to that point.
Just imagine a world where TalismanClair doesn't exist and we have actual Rupture teams and diverse rupture supports/gimmicks instead of one guy literally carrying an ENTIRE status on his back.
This is why I wish they had the balls to nerf/change IDs/EGOs sometimes, kinda like how they changed lccb ryoshu's support passive a while ago. It just boxes out room for creativity because one wrong move and rupture will be the best status effect for every single fight
Who is Talisman Sinclair to you? CinQ Meursault: Never seen him before but I have heard about him Deyvat Rodion: Without him, I probably wont make it this far. Latern Don: I heard that his feats could even bring rupture back, and I didnt doubt it at all. Rosepanner Fixer Gregor: His definitely a core asset to our team. *All: All I can say is that.* *All: He is the strongest support*
You fiddled the riddle! You did it! This is why I tell people Rupture *can't* stack like any of the other status effects, because THIS is the end result. This was in STORY too, no EGO Gifts! As long as this can get consistently set up... why would you use anything else? You might use Sinking if the enemy is Gloom weak/fatal, Tremor Reverb or Time Moratorium if it's Sloth weak/fatal... But being able to put out THIS is exactly why Rupture IDs don't clash well and don't get Count easy. They killed the Barber in 4 turns, MINUS 2 SINNERS. I'm not a Rupture hater, I enjoy Rupture units, but lets be real here. PM has to work AROUND the fact Rupture doesn't have to play fair when they are balancing fights. Burn is capped at 99 per part, and the other sources of status damage (Tremor - Reverb, Time Moratorium, Dark Flame, Sinking) are atleast typed or come with other downsides (Tremor - Reverb teams can accidentally knock it off with Tremor - Superposition, if enemy isn't staggered or resists Sloth then Time Moratorium gets far less effect, enemies can resist Pride and Magic Bullet Outis has teamkilling issues if not given proper attention, enemies can resist Gloom and Sinking deals no damage to enemies with SP unless you have Sinking Deluge ready)
I love TalismenClair but this fight definitely showcased the power of rodion talismen support for me. Being able to have neutral count for (almost) every single skill for 2 strong IDs is so absurdly strong for consistency and we could never have that before - even ids like seven Faust and heath who were our best before had -2 count skill 1s.
From what I gathered, using CinqSault makes the fight faster since he can contribute to rupture procs without messing up the 15x3 condition BUT less consistent (needs to reset a lot). Substituting him with other IDs that has gluttony defensive skills makes it more consistent BUT makes fight slower since Devyat Rodion and sometimes NomNom Don are the only ones using their skills while the rest are just defending. Also, having 4 instead of 5 sinners is much better because you should give 2 slots to CinqSault/NomNom Don since their skills help proc rupture much faster as you need to end fights asap before the boss kills you.
I slept on rupture so hard. I only just recently remembered talisminclair. Until then, I was wondering why they couldn't add more count to rupture to let the stack grow, I didn't know it could grow so fast with that. Now that I remembered his existence, zayum. They holdin rupture back for a reason
The Devyat Apology Tour, across content creators and the Redditors who just immediately parrot whatever they say without thought, continues, and I absolutely love it. 😊 🎉
The maximum amount of coins you can throw out in 1 turn with this is 19. At 99 potency, that's 1881 damage from rupture alone. Ricardo ends his fight at 1882 HP. Ricardo is now mortal. You can get his health to zero, you just need to swap Rosespanner Gregor out for LCCB Ishmael.
I am not sure if this strat has an established name already, but to me this gives me the analogy of powdered milk. First, you have the count and then add the potency with the support passive. An artificial team composition feeling, but it does the same thing as a proper rupture team would or even better.
