what i find annoying after playing and learning for a few days is that i have lost items that i had in old bag or clothing and didnt put them into new bag and when i eat something the thing in my hand drops and and i forget about it. now im use to the game THE FOREST i been playing that since beta and love the building in that more than the crafting side of things and survival. you can make it beautiful. im learning a lot about scum and my personal opinion is that is a bit complicated and a bit to take in so its good people make these videos even simple things are a task in this game. i love it so far and the enemy have been very easy, but i seen some guys like the youtuber foosters be scared and over react in my opinion. i mean when i first played THE FOREST man that was very scary. but i havent felt that way yet with scum exploring a very few places and restarting. i found a motorcycle that had smoke coming out of it and battery showed fine and fuel and the other thing and i had a repair kit and i didnt know how to work it, i tried putting in hand and select repair but it wasnt highlighted. i just learned how to repair clothing and boots. thankss for the video btw mate.

While in the combat stance (V) press L.Shift+V you will hear a soft click or a louder double click with most weapons. This is cycling between full-auto and semi-auto fire modes. In the options controls menu it says the button is V to toggle fire modes, but you must also press L.Shift and be in the combat stance.

WTF! The Shift+W. Bought the game a few days ago... even searched for this function of auto running and nothing is avail. Then I run into this old ass video and the thing still fucking works.
couple friends and i started playing scum a few weeks ago and coming form 7 days to die, conan, and ark this game is on a whole other level and i love it. i have watched a few of your vids on cooking and i think the fishing one and its helped out alot. Though today i died and lost one of our trucks do to lag but i got my gear back.
and a tip with the scope.. see on the bottomish left of the scope, the curved line with the 2, 4, 5, 6 ect and the straight line, if you look at a standing target, ie, a player or a puppet, if you place there feet on the bottom line and move the scope, so the top of the head is touching the curved line perfectly that's your average zeroing, the 2, 3, 4 are in 100 meters, so if the head touching where the 4 is, its 400 meters, ect, that's to help on all games with the scope, and incase the game devs didn't put that amazing self zeroing button, instead of change one of the many clothing items to a little handheld measure ( hoping there isn't one implemented to make me look like a fool lol more then I am, keep up the great work on the videos

2:44 - Zeroing is not the same as elevation adjustment. In reality, the scope is zeroed to a distance which guarantees you maximum 0.5 minute of angle grouping, to which you adjust the scope afterwards on each 100 meters of distance. Means, if you're using miliradians for elevation and windage adjustments, you will need to adjust 1 MOA x 1.0471 (in Milrads - as conversion from inches) for every 100 of meters (provided you're not shooting west-towards-east, otherwise you need to compensate also for the Coriolis effect of the rotation of the earth on distances more than 1000 meters). Nevertheless, this system is not implemented in SCUM it seems.
I would always round down; otherwise, you risk your first shot going over their heads. By rounding down, you might hit lower on the man-sized target, but at least your first shot hits. I'll have to test this out. I don't know if I've taken any shots past 300 meters, yet, so I've been able to guesstimate elevation (but then, I haven't been smashing pumpkins with each shot, either).

Switching weapons also cancels bow and arrow even fully drawn. Right mouse is quicker to just cancel but if you wanna switch you don't need to cancel then switch.
Have they fixed the issue where auto-run/walk doesn't work if you changed your key binds? May seem like a silly question, but I haven't played since November.

You should have included adding your scope to quick access. Handy for mid and long range guns you can snap your scope on only when needed and snap it right back off. Also if you have 2 guns and one acog for instance.

@@darrenhall6518 there's a bug happens sometimes after an update, usually if you don't use the default keybinds. it happened to me after an update months ago. The fix is to reset your controls to default, to apply fresh config. Then test if bash button works, then you can customize your controls again. careful: it resets mouse sensitivity to default too. FYI bash only works with gun in your hand, melee weapons and punching are still left mouse click.
I'm not sure if it's a bug, but I can only go into scope view with the compound bow when I'm in 1st person, if so I hope they change that. Just something that got me a bit, while trying to figure out how to use the new attachments. bug or tip?

Yesterday I lay on a hill in the woods scoping the train yard. I was watching a guy hiding from mechs. Could have killed him over and over, but I decided to let him live. He never knew what situation he was in.
Are the people that show up invisible except for their weapons cheating or is my cpu messed up? They're claiming its because theyre out of view but 20 feet is well within range. Not like I expect them to admit cheating. Server #1000 I've seen it as well as others.

I've been using Shift+left mouse button. there is a clicking sound and the guns icon changes from one bullet to 3. telling you which mode it is in.

This may be a little late but bind the key in the options menu to something you will not use in the future.
Also great feature to rotate items in inventory "ctrl + mouse scroll" while holding item with cursor

Just so everyone knows, they fixed the issue with viewing the inventory. HUD off or on you can view your inventory.

I'm wondering if anyone found the stamina bug, where you can recharge stamina while jogging?
It depends on your constitution, and the amount of weight you carry.
Also while climbing, by tapping W or S while climbing instead of holding. This works no matter your character stats.
