The Times They Are A-Changin - Bob Dylan, arr. Adam Podd
Come gather 'round people wherever you roam and admit that the waters around you have grown;
And accept it that soon you'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin’.
And you better start swimmin’ or you'll sink like a stone,
For the times they are a-changin’.
Come mothers and fathers throughout the land and don't criticize what you can't understand.
Your sons and your daughters are beyond your command,
Your old road is rapidly agin’.
Please get out of the new one if you can't lend your hand,
For the times they are a-changin’.
The line it is drawn the curse it is cast;
The slow one now will later be fast.
As the present now will later be past the order is rapidly fadin’.
And the first one now will later be last,
For the times they are a-changin’.
Goosebumps and tears. ...My GOD what a moving rendition.
'The Times They Are A-Changin' is one of America's great secular hymns. It is as relevant today as it was when a young singer-songwriter from Minnesota wrote it, aged only 22. This arrangement is beautiful and moving. Thank you for posting.
Thank You
This is life-changingly beautiful
My mom and my choir we’re part of the TCWC are doing this one for our concert and I’m going out for the solo
Singing this with my own church choir in a couple weeks- hope we can do it justice!
Always liked this song. So appropriate for these current times.
Having trouble watching as my eyes fill with tears and my heart is in my throat....
Beautiful version.
😘fantastico
Thank you. This particular song could not be more timely.
Heard The Singers under Matt Culloton do this at a rehearsal last night. So happy it's available on RUclips. What a rich sound this choir shares of this beautiful piece of music. Thank you, Concordia.
This choir is absolutely excellent. They are wonderfully musical and they sing the phrase masterfully. Really great well blended sound and this arrangement is beautiful. Well done.
Such a delightful, modern arrangement. Well done, folks ❤
Glorious to hear this song by a chorale/choir. Thank you!
So inspiring! And your accompanist!!!!
Wonderful! 💕
Gorgeous! My parents sang in the Concordia Choir in the late 1940s and I so appreciate the tradition of this music.
Absolutely beautiful
Awesome and powerfully rendered!❤
Beautifully performed. I doubt this arrangement could be executed better than this choir. Really haunting.
I was hoping this would be uploaded to RUclips! I sat totally captivated watching this performance on Facebook last night. So powerful!
Breath taking 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Artistic perfection - reflecting a century of continuous excellence. (And my college choir from 1980-1982.)
❤Beautiful
goosebumps.
my friends attending Concordia this fall and we just sang this song! Good work, it sounds amazing!
Gorgeous.
Dr. Culloton, I really like the new sound of the Concordia Choir. Sounds so tight and pure. Everything is a bit more exact and tuned and it seems to compliment the direction of mainstream pop culture’s music well. Keep it up!!
Maravilloso " Cantus Filmus[" hermosa unidad de voces ❤
Lovely!
umarım bir gün sizleri canlı izleme fırsatım olur.
Türkiye'den selamlar 😍
