inflation really hits hard on me, i've got to cut down a lot of unnecessary expenses, no salary increment but things here in my country has increased like 8 to 10% for almost everything..mainly food is the only thing i spent most.
Yes, food costs are much higher than before COVID. Guess I'll have to start raising chickens!

Is it expensive? I just check here in Netherlands. 800 gram chicken breast costs around 9 euro. 800g = 1.76 lbs. 9 euro / 1.76 lbs = 5.11 euro/lbs. 😢

I'm in CA too and gas here is over $5 a gallon right now. Our produce and meat prices are also higher than Florida's. If you have the space and time, try growing your own veggies and fruits. I plant veggies every year and it saves us a lot of money.

Temu is indeed cheaper but the quality is so so. More importantly, you end up with spending a lot more than you really need.
Mike’s got it right - inflation is the value of your currency (it’s not real money) decreasing. You need to earn to live and invest anything leftover into inflation proof assets. That is, anything likely to go up by more than 20% -50% per annum as that’s what real living-cost inflation is running at. What are those? Well, I have a couple of videos on inflation / price versus value on my channel that will help you figure it out.
Unfortunately, anything leftover was saved to a saving's account of SVB only to evaporate overnight. There is no 🤣way out!
It's the 'hidden tax' that the government doesn't want anyone to know about.
