@@killalot91 there's not much to think about. It's simply a love song about trying to find a loved one despite the chase seeming hopeless, because the time spent with them changed you as a person.
No lie, i look forward to the songs almost more than the character And now with each song having vocals i can only imagine characters like dizzy, robo ky, slayer, and even justice with true vocal tracks
@@dreaomine1008 The song doesn't make sense if it's about Kliff and Dizzy. If you just make all the pronouns the same, you can see that the male and female pronouns are referring to one person. You can see this the most clearly in the line "And yet, he did not reject the light herself", which doesn't make sense unless it's the he and herself refer to the same person. Also, if it was about Kliff and Dizzy, based on the lyrics, that would make Tetsament's theme about the nonexistent relationship between Kliff and Dizzy, which would be weird to say the least. There are also some lines that just wouldn't make any sense unless they were about Testament and their mindset.
@@DweezyBreezey i think it's about Testament seeing the relationship between Ky and Dizzy and how Ky accepted Dizzy for being a gear and then Dizzy accepting herself, which after seeing all that Testament finally forgave themselves for all the stuff they went through early on and accepted that they're worth something too. At the end it goes "He believes (Ky) we (Dizzy, Testament, gears in general) are one of a chain.
@@DweezyBreezey No way it isn't about Testament themselves lol. Between the character description, the VAs in English vs Japanese, and the lyrics, it's pretty clear Daisuke and co. are just doubling down on the whole neutral/ambiguously gendered situation Testament's got going on.
This is a weird thing to comment on, but I love Hurtbox TV's tumbnails for these music analysis videos! You look at it and you can see a big smile on his face because he loves the music just as much as we do and he can't wait to break it down for us. I've been binging this whole series, dude! Keep up the awesome work!
I just love the new theme as much as the previous ones A fixed idea, In the arms of death, and my favorite bloodstained lineage it would be awesome if you play this song complete, I haven't heard any bloodstained lineage cover and I like your style. Thank you very much for the video.
btw the "tribal" bit is literally just the Buddhist "Mantra of Light" (coincidentally also known as the Mantra of the Unfailing Rope Snare... and Baiken has a tether rope grab, huh... 🤔)
They went so far into referencing Megadeth that they made Naoki sound absolutely awful in the verses. Truly staying faithful to their inspiration. Jokes aside, it's pretty good, but it didn't make me go "wow!", unlike Goldlewis and Baiken. I'm glad they put a reference to Testament's previous theme though, that's what Mirror of the World was missing.
Agreed. Since Daisuke want to put so many references in all his songs simultaneously, I think he would do better making all of them superband-like, with many vocalists, each for the best fitting parts.
Reference wise btw, in Strive one of their new move is called " Unholy Diver".
Nice Dio reference.
It's also a reference to a fishing technique of the same name and one of their hobbies is fishing.
Man, I don't get why people don't dig Rock Parade. That build into chorus is still crazy to me.
I still like rock parade, I just don't listen to it as much as I do the other songs in the ost.
I like Rock Parade from a vocal standpoint. The vocals are just so much fun.
I'd say my issue with Rock Parade is that I feel like I have to think when I listen to it. But it is a great song.
The instrumental part is actually insane

First time I heard the verse I just said “megadeth”
Oh, and the outro is 100% ELO
Yep likewise. lol!
So basically this would be if ELO and MegaDeth got together for a song
What a track to round out season 1, hoping for more bangers in season 2, I really want Dizzy just to see what her theme would be

I like how you picked up immediately what notes your guitar would need to play in order to replicate the song. Good shit!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Damn I really like how the lyrics constantly switch between he and she XD
Songs about kliff and dizzy

@@LS95774 ye, they're just doing the "he's not here is she" from tf2 meet the pyro. But actually said/sung instead of just subtitles.
ohhh Ive been waiting for this!!!

Testament theme is basically megadeath
Happy to end season 1 in such a great song
Can you do breakdown of the Guilty Gear X2 Accent Core Plus OST "Get Down To Business" (Order Sol Theme) ?
There is actually one more track left: Rock and Roll Rock Hard Maniac.
Check it out!
I love the Strive OST so much, I think the only track I didn't like at all was Jack-O's. Even Disaster of Passion had a ripping guitar solo.
the only positive was the piano at the end of the song
because it signified it's end
Not gonna lie, Jack-Os theme is the song that I consistently skip. That and Ramlethal's.
What kinda lyric is popping like popcorn? It makes me disgusted every time I hear it
Yeah they really lacking in the jack o department
@@kyuuketsukikun420 damn bro never knew lyrics can make you sick
Can you take a look at raven's theme in xrd?
the solo is similar to Nosferatu intro by IronMask.
lets go!
Do you plan on making any more videos on arcade fight sticks?
What tuning?
I think the only theme that I wouldn't listen as much is baiken's theme, the "tribal" vocals didn't get me as much, the last bits are really nice tho
