- This is Deadline, a new Old School RuneScape series. I have 1 hour to gain a new collection log item. If the timer runs out, Framed will kill my hardcore ironman in the wilderness.

In this challenge, we have one hour to obtain an item from the Collection Log. Sounds easy, right? Well, here's the catch: every time we obtain the item, we have to reset the timer and start all over again.
If the timer runs out, Framed will kill my hardcore ironman in the wilderness.
Join me on this thrilling journey as we race against the clock to collect as many items as possible before time runs out, until we reach our final goal: the Fire cape. With every episode, we'll be targeting different Collection Log items, exploring different parts of Gielinor, and facing unique challenges along the way.
Will we be able to beat the clock and defeat Jad? Or will the time run out before we can achieve our goal? There's only one way to find out.
I tried to go with a slightly different style of storytelling this video (while keeping my stupidity front and center). Hope you guys like it!
I also want to give a HUGE shout out to Knarfe. A few months back he DM'd me almost this exact idea. He deserved credit in the video at the very least, but I completely forgot to do that and that's messed up.
Definitely loving the editing and narration a lot more this time around!

I'm loving the storytelling and editing you did in this. Incredibly funny and I love the concept. Perfectly hits that balance of kind of ridiculous but also really interesting to watch.
I know I shouldn't be, but I'm surprised how well this works as a challenge: strategically balancing between building up collection log reserves and developing the account. It sounds like getting the Fire Cape is feasible, but I wonder just how much of the game an account can complete with this ruleset.

I think each log slot could simply add 1h, instead of resetting to 1h, until a cap, which would increase as you progressed. You could start banking idk, 3h max, and increase it by 1h every 10 slots or something.

Should be able to stack multiple 30 mins so you could have like 4 hours or whatever if you unlock 8 castle wars slots so you don't have to run back and forth and constantly be on edge about the slot

I thought of a similar idea. Basically the same premise but instead of account deletion all of your inventory and bank get wiped. You can keep collection log items

Idyl, I’ve heard you talk about how you wish you could physically kill players for certain plugins that you make, like snail man mode. Since you can’t do that, have you considered making the plug-in do something that auto-bans the account? I think that would be absolutely hilarious, but I’m not sure if 1. That is physically possible to do in a plug-in and 2. The runelite team would allow such a disgusting plugin be on the hub.
