I got this massage gun a while ago and finally got around to posting this video. One of the most popular questions I get is, what's the best massage gun for under $100. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of quality options out there for under that price point, but I also haven't check out many in that price range to be able to confidently provide a valid answer. So I thought it was worthwhile for me to try something at a lower price point than normal to get a better understanding of what options are out there and what quality they are. I purchased this massage gun from Walmart during their Black Friday sale. It's the cheapest massage gun I've ever bought at $38 and quite honestly the quality seems to reflect it. If you're looking for a cheap massage gun, this is certainly an option that's out there (and likely a relatively popular one given it's sold at Walmart and on Amazon), but it's not one that I would recommend.

I was given this massager as a gift last November so I’ve had it for almost 5 months. It’s been solid and nothing has broken. Both my wife and I use it almost daily. It’s a pretty solid massage. It has less percussive effect than the very expensive ones I’ve had used in me at stretch facilities. So, while not cheaply made, I think it is less effective than the pro (expensive) brands but effective for daily use.
I purchased this after my physical therapist used it on me. He told me it was at Walmart and their PT office will be getting more of them. I purchased one and love it. Yes, there are 6 speeds.
We have one. It's amazing. The first one stopped being able to charge so walmart just let us exchange it and the 2nd one worked fine. Very powerful. Kills your kinks! Get it!
It appears you reviewed a lemon!!! My son and I each have the EXACT same FitRX. All 6 speeds work and it does not disable when pressed hard into my muscles. NO ISSUES AT ALL.
I got the mini one. Attachments are the same with 4 speeds. I like the more gentle pressure so the mini version with 4 speeds are perfect for me. I love it
Got mine today from Walmart 49.99 and the 6 speeds do work. It's my first one it's feels good so far I gave it its first full charge and pleased with the outcome. Looking forward to feeling better after rough days. 🙂

I just got mine today haven’t been able to turn on, do I need to charge it all the way before turning on? Why didn’t it come charged
@@Sugaberry7477 yes it likely needs to be charged. Often there’s restrictions on shipping lithium batteries so they can’t be fully charged
All 7 speeds work on mine. Definitely can tell a difference
I just recently purchased one and it's amazing.
I used it for the past few days and now it has the red light and won’t turn off or on its odd I guess it broke while I was charging ot
I agree with most, if not all, of your review. The case that came with mine is woven nylon, not what I would call a 'hard' case by any means but it will keep things together and offer some protection. Battery life to charging time ratio is not very good, but then it was only a $50 item. It does have all 6 speeds however the manual, such as it is, says it has battery status lights which I have yet to find. The specs list it as having 17 pounds of percussive force which is on the low end for this type of device and I have no trouble stopping it with just moderate pressure on my muscles. Unlike some of the reviews I've seen that people claim to have had miraculous results after one use I have not noticed any benefit yet, but I've only had it a few days. For an entry level, low budget option it is okay.

Mine switched on automatically while charging and no buttons are working to turn it off. Hope this won’t blast . I kept it outside as precautionary. Waiting for Macy’s to open to return it

Got ours from Walmart at $60
After a day it got really loud and something came loos inside until it got wedged between the piston most likely, causing it to jam up and not work.
I’ve had mine for a year and a half, and have put it through hell and back on a daily basis, and it still runs with no issues. So as much as I would love to agree with you on spending some times 3-4 times the amount on more expensive guns, I see absolutely no reason to do so. Additionally, you must have a defective one that you should’ve returned, because mine has all six speeds and does speed up at each setting.

Doesn't feel cheap at all, the case is a soft case, nothing wrong with it. I get all six speeds and it's powerful enough for an entry level device. I would have liked more power, but it's about what I expected for the price. Overall, it's better than a vibrating massager for around the same price. Very happy with it for $35.
Bought this today for my tennis elbow
Man after getting mine it is total opposite. I got mine at Marshalls yesterday for $50. Ny case is the hard with the FitRX in a 3d effect. After level 3 it continues to intensity. The body feels a little heavier than 2 5 pounds and feels solid. I wonder if walmart had a different type.
Same with me, I picked mine up today and it was $49.99. I’ve used it a good amount today and it seems very nice, although I haven’t tried any other gun so it’s hard to say.
I got one today for $49.99 at TJMaxx. The 6 speeds are all real. None of the parts feel hollow. The carry box is not like the one you pictured; it's better. Thou the carry box does smell like it needs outgassing. Yuck! I havent tried it yet, it's still charging.
Rumors are that people returned their Walmart Black Friday TV's, and that other people's TV's broke within a year, after the 90 day return policy.
I got the fit rx pro from marshalls 80$ and my friend broke it by trying to adjust the pivite. Now its smoking and makes a sound like plastic is rumbling around. And I cant press on my skin deep now so I cant get to deep muscles. Im so bothered looking at it. I have tumors on my spine both my legs Sometimes just working and im in deep pain every second. It really did feel good excellent pain decrease im so sad. Like kick me im down.

im really taken by surprise with your review cause I live in Nicaragua, Central America and it was $35 at Pricesmart, the 6 speeds indeed do work and it DOES HAVE a hardshell case and im posting this today and I just got it! im just confused with the charging method how do I tell when It is fully charged?

6 led blink while charging equals to fully charged. Same 6 blink without cable, the device is low on power.
Delighted to see your review, because I just got one in PriceSmart Trinidad & Tobago! ^_^ [The little LED lights by the power button let you know how it's charged btw, when it's fully charge all 6 lights turn solid red :)

Got mine from pricesmart as well in Barbados. My assessment is the same. Hard case, 6 speeds. My attachments have a red ring around them unlike the ones in this video, so maybe the product has since been improved.
I was charging mine and it started vibrating out of nowhere non stop what did I do
I was considering giving the RX a try, but "you get what you pay for comment" makes me feel like I should continue looking for a better quality massage gun. I have tried several in the low budget category and they are not made so well. They start of fairly quiet, in some cases.... very quiet 54dB. Unfortunately, after a few weeks of use and the massager loosens up..... the noise level increases to the point where the massager sounds like its ready to fall apart. Thanks for the review!!
This was my experience with this device, however if you read some of the other comments, it sounds like others have had a better experience than I did with this device. Walmart has a 90 day return policy so if you're unsure, you could always buy and return if it doesn't meet your needs.

I bought this massager... It fell off the couch and now it works for about 3 minutes before it turns itself off.
Just got mine from Walmart today it works fine no problems at all it gets the job done and all the 6 levels work he probably had that one for so long and broke it that’s why it’s not changing speed and I don’t have that case I got the hard case as listed my opinion is a great product to start with 👍🏽🙂

Used mine a couple of times, then after the 5th time I was using it, it stopped working, so the next day I put it to charge then tried using it again the red lights turned on then I noticed it started smoking a bit and started getting hot, after that I said fuck it and safely disposed of it.

This is not true , I got mine from Home Depot and as soon as I heard him saying only 3 speeds work then the other 3 is the same , I tried it on mine and ALL 6 speeds work different and THEY WORK , you might just need to charge it 100% to work idk I do feel the deifference in the speeds
Mine stopped working after 3 weeks
The battery is actually removable, you have to use the force of God to pull back the grip on the massage gun, unscrew the two screws left and right and carefully pop out the motherboard of the gun it uses two lithium ion battery’s and they can be replaced but be careful because the clips that use to connect both the motor and battery use the most cheapest plastic that is bound to brake
U might want to get a new name because “best massage tech” is over do n it I know the say n goes to each their own but if that’s ur honest review about it especially the settings and felt cheaply made then u got a dud or urs was made at quitting time on a Friday and they said screw it it looks good from my house. I got a totally different case because the one I got is hard and I got the box with the charging cable. The part where u said u can’t tell a change n the motor from 3-6 is absolutely crazy cause mine has a huge difference n sound and power. All I need is 1-3 it has plenty of power and is hands down a great massage gun. Oh and u said it feels cheap r u kidding me it feels solid as hell and either u got a dud or u must b get n paid by the competition lol. U do get what u pay for and n my opinion they could have sold this at a higher price and it would still b worth it my fiancé has the FitRX Pro and it’s just as solid and just an all around awesome massage gun. Oh and I got a flat attachment that can be usb charged and has 2 different heat settings I guess someone took that home to help them with their Saturday morning hangover lol

Bought one today, plugged it in downstairs and moved it upstairs to finish charging and now it won’t charge at all or anywhere 😂🤦🏾♂️ despite this, it’s not horrible as far as quality of massage. I’ve experienced massage chairs with far worse quality.

I had this one and seemed solidly built and worked good not long. Not a month or 2 after the inicial purchase. It doesnt seem at all cheap in the hand though not sure what your talking about. As said it died on me but honestly you seem picky man.

Given my own experience and the contradictions stated by most if not all of the comments, I think this was a bad review. It leaves people as confused as they were in the beginning as the video says one thing and the comments say another.

Yeah have to disagree buddy maybe you are not using it right I have the same one and it does everything you said it’s not doing am confused on your review maybe you just don’t like the product I know a lot who has these and we don’t have a problem it’s not a chiropractor it’s a massage gun which means massages the tissue not heal it or do magic but makes your body feel better after a long days of work what it’s for so idk maybe get you another and let someone else use it on you because you can’t be doing it right

This sounds like a hit piece against the device. Nothing you said has been my experience. Build, speeds down to even the case. This is my first time watching your review and my last. Simply bc none of the points you make are remotely valid.
