That stuff must really hurt. We had to go through a smoke house singing anchors away, and tear gas, take of the mask inside the gas house. That was in 83. Never had to do anything like that. So many tests to get through, and they tell you, the test is nothing compared to the real thing, and that is usually the case.
No you do not have to UNLESS you are doing something w/ the Military Police or some security force MOS. Sometimes you will be voluntold (meaning you are told you have to do it but it's a volunteer type class) & they don't do taser classes usually because of the lack of supplies seeing as you, as a regular Marine, won't carry a taser unless you have an MOS that requires it.
its nice to watch at 4:00 when the will to fight comes back and BOOM! the guy was pretty surprised and got thrown back a few steps. :) did you train to withstand oc before or was it the first try? im not sure if i was able to fight like that. i got sprayed once and it knocked me out almost completely.
does everyone in the marines get OCed?? and/or tazered..... also what kinds of carrier options are in the marines for women?? thanks:) oh and good job id have a hard time with that
No.. this is not apart of the Marine Corps bootcamp & you can go through an OC course if you want, if you have to for your MOS (job), or you are told you are volunteering.
Way tio go Douglas. What kind of trainging is this? For offivcer caniddate School. When I was in tyhey sent enlisted to go to OCS. Then those guyds got sent to Vietnam, just like us.
I keep pepper spray on hand. I've been tempted on many occasions to use it on myself...just to be ready. I'm sure it's much weaker than the OC spray used during training..but still.
In your opinion which is worse cs or oc cause ive been hit with cs several times in training which still fuckin sucks each time and just screwing around with some friends of mine we decided to see if pepper spray was as bad as the chamber was and to me it wasnt as bad it just made my vision blurry lol
you know what? i give the marine corp props out of all the oc spray videos ive seen so far they are the only ones to get it right, damn the navy is horrible at this shit, it must be a damn joke or something.
