Navigating the console is a very important aspect in the entire process. Fred Swann had once said that he would take a long time to pull out and to listen to EACH stop. He is so articulate and has given us so much scholarly advice. To me he is a celebrity!

Carol was selling copies of her compositions, and her CDs following a program that I attended. I am proud to have them in my library and, I was happy to hear both played as part of this video!

I love Fred's spirit. I caught a magnificent performance of his on the Hope-Jones organ in the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove NJ.

Hi and thank you for such a nice interview with Mr. Frederick Swann speaking about pipe organs. I had the pleasure of seeing
him here in Spokane Washington and asked him if I could make a recording of his performance, and he said sure! He is a
very kind and polite gentleman. He has played many organs to so many who love the instrument and his programs. Paul

Carol Williams brought out the most interesting memories, information and personal wealth of knowledge of the great artist Dr. Fred Swann who normally by chosen humilty holds back on the great contributions in music and experience he has given to the world of organ and its great artists,,he being one. Well done Carol, and thank you Fred and God bless.

After hearing Fredricks Swanns' Arrangement of a Hymn at Los Angeles Our Lady of Angels I decided I had to give something back to this great man. Being an astrologer I loorn and the MC an conjuctionked everywhere and found his birthday (January 1, 1931 and did up an astrology portrait. The one thing I noticed right away was; at the very top of the wheel is an aspect with Sun, Saturn and MC in conjuct all trine Neptune. These planets all represent Old Age clearly....Mr Swann will live for many more years.

Hi Jeff, you may want to 're-do- your astrology workup. I know for a personal fact that Mr. Swann's bDay is actually 7-30-31 :) Would be interested to see what this new birthday will reveal in the 'stars' for him!

I can only imagine what you're asserting here. This might not be the place for it, but your last name gave you away.

I was a kid in church and always liked the various sounds, vibrations, and all around personality of the pipe organ. But I had no idea there were recordings of it. So I'm in the music store and walk back to that fishbowl section behind the glass door. I enter and its playing some kind of classical orchestration. I'm not totally into that but I need to stay or else I'll look like an amateur. I find the section with E.P. Biggs and Virgil Fox. So I buy a couple LP's. I find a digital LP that warned about your volume level. I gathered up a big collection of CD after that. So my visit to San Diego had to include a trip to Balboa Park to hear this organ. It did not disappoint. I've followed Carol since she took over.

would be nice if Hazel had tell tale signs for each stop of whether or it came from the former Ruffati or the Skinner or even the Walker digital.

What is Fred doing these days now that he is 84 years of age. Is he still playing? Where does he live now? Can he still play?

LOL piano music at the end after only talking about playing the organ. HMMM! more fitting to play organ music, don't you think?
Yes David Snyder Lumierist+ you are right. This video is rare. I learned more about Fred Swan in this video, then I have in 50 years living.
