Japan's Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako are in the United Kingdom for a three day state visit. The Royals will be hosted by Britain's King Charles and Queen Camilla, in Buckingham Palace. This royal engagement is the first for King Charles since he was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024. The royal familes of Japan and Britain share a three-generation long history, with Emperor Naruhito making his first visit after ascending the throne in Japan in 2019. It was the first time I saw a six-horse carriage. We saw the four-horse carriage in Cinderella. The two-horse carriage is what you see at the ambassador's appointment ceremony in Japan. The number of white horses with fluffy white reeds was overwhelming, and they were so beautiful. The guards are cool too. Tourists should not behave in a way that makes fun of the guards. It's just something to be respected. Guards are the pride of Britain. Britain is a proud monarchy. I'm looking forward to future events. Queen Elizabeth was wonderful, but so was Charles III. My shoes are John Lobb and my family of four all wear Burberry coats. Both my grandfather and father are the third generation in my family. I remember being in Brighton when I was a student, and then traveling for a month from Dartmoor to the Isle of Skye. Great Britain is greate.
