I went to one of those places that guarantee you'll see. I went back six times and still couldn't. I had to make do with the last pair of glasses. When I mentioned it, in passing, to my doctor, she sent me to an ophthalmologist who determined I had cataracts. No clouding over or anything! I went to a specialist and got them removed. I had two cataracts in my left eye!
Now I have artificial lenses implanted and don't need glasses to drive, only to read. I do, sometimes, miss the double cataracts in my left eye, though, because it was like looking through a powerful magnifying glass to read small print.
My thrift store finds were an inlaid wooden Rolex box, perfect for my son's gaming dice, and a gravity fed pet feeder for my cats. I already had the one for water. Total cost: $9.00. :)
The pet feeders will be good if I have to go in for chemo. I've switched to a Mediterranean style diet, similar to yours, for my health.

Well, how dang fun was this video!! Ever since I’ve been watching you, all I kept thinking is LuLu needs to wear little round glasses! Then when you did your video with that fabulous vintage (?) colorful dress and your boots, it so needed John Lennon glasses. I cant wait to see them! When I saw the inside of that black jacket - I thought it looks like something Nasa made. And lo ! You could wear it to the moon and back 🤩. It's cute too.
