    Thank you Ryan for the video. I don´t agree with the statement that the more you use intuition as a healing tool in astrology, the more spiritual power for liberation you lose. What I feel is that one loses spiritual power when acting without compassion and focusing on the illusion of the ego, with or without siddhis. People should not be afraid and avoid using intuition in their readings, but really meditate and pray more so that knowlegde, spiritual power and prana they accumulate can truly help people. Like any other power, if it is used to selflessly win a battle or to humiliate someone, or to show up, etc, for sure this is losing energy. But if they are used for a higher purpose, this is merit. Merit that will help that soul to attain tranquility and moksha. I personally don´t believe it can be possible to read a chart only by rational thinking. it´s for sure a combination between a basic technique and a deeper insight. I think great masters don´t show up any sidhis because they want us to strive for the higher goal of life that is beyond yogic powers. but if yogic powers are used to help people to overcome suffering, this helps the yogi to meditate deeper and be happier too. for example, by recording so much videos you might lose energy and time, and you could be meditating more. but you are using the resources you have to practice Dharma and that´s helping you on your path... Thank you

    Interesting insights, thanks. I have an observation as one who entered the ‘electric age’ with a Divine Light and Love awakening after 30 years of heart centered healing work,: as long as you stay centered and use your intelligence the intuition flows and flows like any other aspect of your awareness, yet going through the gate to multidimensional awareness the energies of Consciousness can include rough seas, yet with relaxing the ego and Spiritual love the new normal is a more blissful oneness. I enjoy all the faculties as qualities from our core. It’s like being a pioneer in deep Soul trauma healing with inner Guide partnering. Peace

    Ryan, I have come across the "dilemma" that when looking over the charts of friends/relatives, it appears behaviorally that many relate more closely to their sidereal sign placement vs tropical. But, that applying the tropical zodiac to the dashas and avastash is more accurate predictably. Have you experienced something similar? Do you recommend to interchange or keep the system separate interely?
    Thank you very much.

    But it would be great if you clarify if you meant to use All (literally) all of the Parashara system on Tropical zodiac ? Meaning.. would you still use Avastha's, Shad balas, Exaltation, debilitation, Mool trikon etc on tropical zodiac as if it was Sidereal ?
    How do you treat Parivartan yogas etc in there ?

    Where are the Lajitaadi Avasthas covered in BPHS? I have the Ranjan edition and it says they are in chapter 45 but then when I looked through I couldn't find them, or at least not clearly. Is it in book two or is it hidden in that section (ch45) perhaps under another name? From my current understanding of it (Lajitaadi Avasthas), it is related to the mathematical approach to the aspects outlined earlier in the text. I am studying this stuff on my own for now as I am taking other courses on astrology at this present time. I really want to milk BPHS for all I can before going to take a course like the one you offer. Basically I just want to see how far I can get with this stuff without courses and then when I really hit a wall I will probably go take some courses.

    I just finished my 2nd Saturn return and went through a 12 year flood, changing everything in a massive way. Finding Astrology was part of healing and Looking at Kala, the Tropical Dasa's worked up until the flood which started at 48. After 12 years of healing, now I find the Dasa's work better using Fagen Allen Sidereal. Also the Saturn boot, task master, on my life is more clear using Sidereal. I am thinking Tropical is strong at the material level early in life and at the cosmic level Sidereal speaks at another level. Today I look at both. Common sense point: If you are drunk everyday, you are at the base level and don't need astrology. If you get over your trauma, you learn to dance and you want to learn new moves.

    I feel like it's also important to talk about how the stars have moved, and the tropical zodiac marks points in the universe/deep space that the constellations were marking 2000 years ago or so...do I have that right? that seems much more accurate to me, to measure the points in space that these theories were based on (2000 yrs ago), rather than where the stars are having moved away from those places (sidereal) which seems a bit superficial

    • @SkyCloudSilence
      @SkyCloudSilence Год назад

      Is it truly the stars moving away from the positions or is it the wounded sun lagging behind. Anciently, the axis of the earth was straight and perpendicular and a year was exactly 360 degrees, 360 days... All ancients myths tell of a tremendous earth cataclysm, after which we begin to get the myths of the sun-god who dies and is ressurected, which never happened before that. I personally believe the sun currently is a wounded sun and it is the stars who have remained intact.

    There IS a 'differential zodiac' - a zodiac combining both tropical and vedic - calcuable by dividing the difference in degree, between, them both. This would be the most 'in tune' for people whom have been resonating with both tropical and vedic.

      It would and will always be not silly because the difference will always be exactly calcuable from vedic and the procession of constellations and western and the ecliptic ie: 24° roughly. That would make 'differential' astrology, THE most ACCURATE BOTH.

    Intuition represents spiritual truth. The other is just giving yourself up to machinery. It's like using the car instead of walking or cycling... you get around, for sure, but your body weakens, yes don't 'retain' energy... you're actually losing it, because you don't train it. You pass by, but you never actually can take something in.
    P.S. What happens with your karma depends on you, not the state of planets.
    Having said that, tropical is interesting in terms of seasons... but that depends on where one is! Tropical considerations (not necessarily the zodiac) are important because the interpretations of sidereal signs also got imput form seasonal symbolism (e.g. Leo greatest heat, Aries spring); exaltations: why the sun in Aries, not because it goes into longer days? So these need to be adjusted even in sidereal charts, I think. However, the actual subtle energy is sidereal (where intuition comes into play, which you so dread). I agree with the commentators here, that sidereal astrology (as you would acknowledge with nakshatras, at least in part) is more profound and tells you about real challenges... rather than the clockwork seasons that play it out by themselves.

    I am a classical astrologer dealing with Hellenistic and medieval astrology. Now I would like to look into Vedic astrology, mainly because of naskshatras. The sidereal zodiac scares me. My ascendant, Pluto, saturn and jupiter are in the sign of libra, the ruler of the ascendant is in Leo in the 10th house, in the sidereal its virgo, which is absolute nonsense for me, the libra are very strong in me incorporated, they are part of my personality, as is the essence of Venus in Leo. I have absolutely nothing from a Virgo, so I would say sidereal doesnt work. Michaela

      In my case, the sidereal chart may work better, but the mahadasha sequence is really messed up. Only when I go tropical, I see my Atmakaraka is Saturn, who is also the lord of my Moon sign, so if I start my Vimshottari sequence from Saturn, EVERYTHING falls precisely into place. However, it could also work in the sidereal chart, but only when you do 30 - Saturn's degree, because Saturn is retrograde, and then you will see the Vimshottari sequence make sense. I think not only Rahu and Ketu, but also ANY planet who is retrograde, its degrees must be subtracted from 30 to obtain the actual karaka.
