That first 15min was therapeutic guys. There are legitimate critiques to be made/discussed of the show (this ep’s length being a good example). But nope, instead all avenues must be inundated w/ unserious, nauseating, dull, vitriolic noise which the more incessant it gets, the more aggressively I ignore it as not being worth my time. But maybe more importantly I also find much of the behaviour of such supposed SW fans to run completely counter to the messages that SW promotes & so am left questioning their credibility in the first place.
Re: TPM, w/ the funerary scene (Y: always 2 there are … MW: But which was destroyed ?… camera pans to Palps) I think one would have to be young/still not quite fully grasped the language of cinema to be unaware. But I too have often wished I could get the POV of ppl like my parents who took me to the OT movies but never engaged w/ SW beyond/after that & so wouldn’t go into the Prequels familiar w/ the name or Ian.
It was actually Mae who set the snare. Just after Qimir leaves to get water she looks up into the tree canopy & she’s been giving him side eye ever since they landed on Khofar.
Interesting that Qimir has a theory that aligns w/ many of ours in regards to the Sabres & the whole killing w/out a weapon thing w/out knowing (presumably) that Mae has been reaching for both Indara’s & Sol’s in their confrontations. 🧐
A few theories for who Darth Zippy is:
1. Qimir - the obvious play
2. Mother Koril - we get to see the 'I am your Mother' play.
3. Vernestra Rwoh - She's been trying to keep the whole situation under wraps and was rattled about the cover up (assumed) coming out
4. A bag of gas like Marrok was
