My wife & I drove over while attending a medical conference and are contemplating taking our RV for a month next winter. Nice place, nice folks. I couldn't tell how far you can walk the beach in either direction. Can you opine?

You can walk to the south a long ways (miles). The north is a military base, so assess is not allowed. The campground borders the base. I would book on the first day reservations are allowed to get a spot against the beach. Reservations book fast. Enjoy.

@@mackite4846 Yeah. I’ve always booked online. Reservations go fast (months in advance) and the ones backing on the beach go first.
