Moose can be scary. I gave that moose some space. They scare me more than bears. 80 miles east had to be close to the Wind River range.

Also picked up on that I would need to grab an outer (right side) in order to have privacy as I step out of my camper. Was hoping you had a video of Apgar, any recommendations there? Can you also confirm that even though I have reservations inside the park I'm STILL going to have to get a pass every day I want to be on the Going to the Sun Road?

@mikegreene9215 Yeah. I’ve not camped at Apgar. I’ve been in most other campgrounds though in the park. I like the east side better. When I camped at Fish Creek on the west side last year I still needed my daily permits to drive the going to sun road. I did not need them on the east side, except for driving into Many Glacier. I’m not sure what the rules will be this year in 2025 to drive the highway. They seem to change each year. The park likely has the rules posted though on the website for this year. I’m going to be in the park during July most likely. I’ve never gone in August. You should be good in August with no snow issues on most trails. Enjoy. Thanks for watching my channel. 👍👍
