I remember there was a scene when Slifer ( 6000 attack ) attacks Obelisk and Kaiba flips the two card ‘ power balance ‘ to force Yami to drop off 3 cards from his hands and I never understood why Yami hasn’t lost at this point cause Slifer has lost 3000 attack points and Obelisk had 4000 attack points and the trap card of Kaiba does not end a battle phase
Hello fellow duilest, i know am 2 years late and u may have already found the answer but just incase u didn't allow me to gladly explain to u what happened there my friend, when yami yugi used cards exchange to get back slifer from seto's hand, seto kaiba took a card in return from his hand (i dont remember its name) but its effect is basically it forces the opponent to discard from their hand as many cards as the turns that has passed while this card was set on ur side of the field befure u activated it (note: it only count ur turns and it does not count the turn u sat it on cus it gains 1 counter on eash one of ur stand by phases, seto picked this one specifically from yugi's hand so he can use it later after it accumulates enough counters on it to hopefully defeat slifer in battle) Skip to *2* of kaiba's turns later and after some epic back and forth between these 2 great duilest's, kaiba attack sliver who have very few atk points atm cus yami's hand was short on cards Yami then activates a card that allows him to draw a card and if it was a spell he can immediately activate it, and luckily he got the normal spell "cards sanctuary" (both players draw untill they got 6) And then kaiba activated his set card (which actually now have a counter of 2 on it) to force yami to discard 2 cards resulting in an epic equal god cards clash destroying both of them

Technically the Egyptian god card Slifer isn’t a high attack monster since it’s based on the cards you have so it’s 0 when it’s in your hand. Btw I love how you made Yami decline cheats or cheated a little.
No it really isn't. Duel links has 20 card decks and 3 card spaces and limited card choices, while TDOANE has 5 zones, every card ever made at your access, online play with no lag, great duels, ability to duel character decks from the show, tag dueling, and the ability to make custom dueling rulesets. Change the banlist (or play without it entirely), change lifepoint amounts, how many cards you draw per turn, and more. I agree that the mid video ads suck but the program is great and completely free and perfect for practicing and learning new decks.

It's true that ygopro has lot of options/extra things, but duel links just has much better animation, budget, actual voice lines and don't forget, is a unique game. We shouldn't actually compare, these 2 are like pretty different products. One is for fun and unique experience and the other one is for enjoying all cards.
