I love how Sima Yi did his old attack where his fan circles him while he floats toward the enemies. Haven't seen that attack since DW5, how nostalgic lol
Yeah i love that.. But idk, I prefer to see him use his DW6 weapon, the claw gloves thingy.. It makes him look more sadistic and I love certain scenes of him using his weapon, the one where he is shown piercing an officer face with the claw..
@@kaptainkappa8084 Yes but that doesn't mean KOEI have to change Sima Yi's iconic evil laugh Musou from DW7 and 8 to the boring one in DW9. And I'm very sure the new voice actor of Sima Yi can perform just as well as the old voice actor, since the new voice actor is Ryōtarō Okiayu; he has been a voice actor since 1989 until now ( he also voiced Sima Shi in 7, 8 & 9 too ).
The clone army, only Wang Yuan Ji kept her moves while the rest’s are copied and pasted from others. They really did the Jin dirty in this installment, hopefully they’ll do better with DW10.
Sad. They change all the weapons. Like jia chong,zhong hui... both of them my favorite but they change the moveset and the weapons... I miss zhong hui floating swords
Agree, this is one of the reason I hate about KOEI. Sometimes they just lazy for no reason, I don't understand why they had to use clone weapons and movesets when they had built a good foundation in DW8 already.
@@shawnboahene5231 this game is basically another 6. As in they tried something new game mechanic wise. But they got lazy cause they keep adding new characters and with new characters is new moveset and different unique weapons so I understand all the duplicates. This is the most unique DW game despite its flaws. I just hope DW10 they learn from their mistakes and they stick with the liner formula and make a great DW game and give Gan Ning is sword back
I like the look of the moves but it's just not fun nor interesting to play. And the stuff they changed or added are too anime. I wish we could see a strong woman character and not girls merely wielding big weapons in heels.
@@cyberchord I agree especially the fact that all lot of the characters have similar weapons in DW9 not like DW8 where each character has his own unique weapon. I was kinda sad to see them change Chunhua’s wired gloves they were my favorite weapon in that game.

That's true the laugh and the whole musou was epic. But I never played 9 I got WO4U and the more I look at DW9 the more interested I get
I prefer Sima Yi in Dynatsy warriors 8, it's kinda more natural with his evil laugh

Dw8 combat system much better than this. The moveset of this game is boring as hell. Random attacks without colors effects.
To be fair, you do need to equip gems to weapons for elements and color effects. They don’t appear to be on in this video.
