1. I think it looks like his flicks are much faster then his dpi should be allowing him to do.
2. I think he probably toggles off or lowers the strength after the Jay3 shot because he knows he'll be analyzed after how outlandish it was

It's literally just packet loss, he's probably not cheating.
Big time cheater, the shot on Flats when he was behind the corner of the wall was also another instance where this person is toggling the cheat/script. 0.1x speed, game sense he would have been looking there coz of widow's ult, but it's only when the cheater sees your shoulder past the pillar it makes that sudden pinpoint location on you.

He is a "smart cheater". But i think he messed up on that shot on you, he deffo cheats all the time but accidently (or his cheat software messed up) for that one and the one on flats (maybe)

Oh shit wait. I think it’s only flicking if it’s outside of a certain range. Because of the projectile changes, you only really miss when your crosshair isn’t close to them. When his crosshair is close to the target it doesn’t flick, but when it is far off target, it does.
My guess is he has some kind of auto-toggle and the configuration was not done properly hence the flick shot got caught out as an outright inhuman movement. There are some other instances where his mouse movement is outright robotic.
I will say there are times where I flick to someone and try to flick back but even then it has a fuild motion. I don't think I've ever moved my mouse and fully stopped on someone

There were multiples. Hanzo is my most played hero and there were SEVERAL locked shots on 3rd point. That shot on the Ashe after he climbed up was also locked for example.

I dunno tbh besides the sigma behind the wall where hes locked on the head and the rein slightly after that the rest dont seem to lock onto the actual player so hard to tell especially as its odd that would only toggle a few times
He seems to do a lot of weird flicks throught the latter half of the game where he snaps to somone and then tracks them for a brief moment, at least that's what I'm seeing.
I think the new hitboxes mess with the cheats which is why the snapping looks different.

I have seen flicks similar to this on some other games from people who go for them, they will intentionally set their mouse to 125hz polling rate to make it look like one frame flicks. But that was definitely weird as hell. I’m not 100% convinced he’s cheating but he probably is
1:37 at .1x speed that took 10 frames on 60fps for the aim to flick to you.

I think that snap on flats was sus he didn't do the follow through with the mouse movement and it looked like it snapped towards his head behind the wall
11:30 Could be a sign he is using walls? He seemed to mouse right on the zen before he had vision of him. He knew he might have been there from the projectiles, but it seemed sus that he so clearly moused the zen through the wall.
Zen was highlighted from sonic arrow at that moment. only thing i can think of is if the guys not hacking packet loss with high dpi could account for some of the snaps but hopefully hes caught if he is cheating with them reporting.

Especially he has widow walls and still looks at a corner where nobody is instead of looking at you. The second a pixel of you was on his screen he flicked. Why would you even hold a corner when you know there is nobody because u have widow walls?

The part where Jay says "I don't think it's anything" @10mins was when the Hanzo was locking on to the guy in spawn behind the wall first and then him. Cheeto. He may toggle it as he's GM but then there's players like Jay and his friends just letting time=skill talk.
Nearly every time I sign on to OW I get a "thanks for the report" as the amount of cheaters is getting unreal. Normally on Widow's and Hanzo's so they can blame it on walls or sonic arrow but the amount on soldier and genji lately while being Mercy pocketed is disgusting.
What's wrong with skills for kills?? Can't they have an over 30 years game pool, you know us original gamers don't cheat 😅

Idea for Genji. Take away all his ammo. He has one 'clip' like his brother; shuriken rather than arrow. Regular fire give him the straight line burst of three shuriken, alt fire gives the horizontal fan of three shuriken. Rather than a double jump, wall jumps, up to two, maybe three times; meaning climb a wall and jump off, land on another and either climb One more time followed by one more jump, or simply two jumps as long as they are off another wall. Boom.
Idk if they are hacking or not, but I have unstable internet so whenever I watch a replay of one of my games, some of my flicks look weird and that's because of some fps lag as a result from my bad connection

I don't know what kind of cheats is this, but I saw the same many times on kiriko cheats for healing. It rotates camera to teammate with low hp without accurate lock

Idk. Could be some mouse issue where his mouse bugged and did not send all the mouse updates continiously and decided to dump all of the mouse movements at once making it look like a flick. Still looks sus af. Luck + mouse glitch or cheats. We will never know.
honestly yeah, i think he just got the unluckiest lagspike or whatever. you can see his aim snap a few times in the video, and it's like the guy's mouse freezes and then snaps somewhere. like the one jay3 was talking about at around 5:03 and then it happens again at 5:35 then again with the killcam that started it all, and again when he's aiming at flats at 9:20. the first two aren't even aiming at anyone. on top of it all his gameplay doesn't look like anything weird outside of the snapping so i honestly think this guy just got giga unlucky with whatever causes his mouse to snap like that.

Yeah, I definitely won't say this isn't cheating but a shitty connection isn't implausible in the slightest. I've had very jumpy aim in a POTG before, exactly like this, because I was getting a ton of packet loss.
I also saw their mouse jump multiple times during entirely mundane times (including when climbing the wall at 5:35 with no enemies there) where I don't think a cheat would.
I think it's entirely _plausible_ that the "flick" was due to a bad connection, especially because they don't move their mouse at all for a second and then immediately "jump" to aiming at the window. They also had been alternating between aiming down the corridor and up at the window for a period already. But it could still be a cheater.
@@bradmiles1984 which player did he snap to at 5:03 or 5:35 then? like for real, it's way more likely imo that he's not cheating and it's just some weird issue with the connection/mouse. cause if you look at his gameplay, it's really nothing special for a gm lobby. the mouse skipping happens before in the replay but the kill on jay3 was the only time it snapped anywhere near a player. the only weird part about the kill was the snap, because every hanzo takes that shot.
@@aksdee1434 I'm talking about the snap on the kill. The odds of it skipping frames right onto the target with precision at that speed? If he's not cheating he should buy a lottery ticket. All those streamers play at high levels and have insane hours into the game. I'm pretty sure they can tell way better then any of us.
might be mouse skips/pixel skips. there are multiple time were hes not even looking in the direction of people and it skips like that. but he also might be cheating cause that shot looked really sus.

Mouse cannot skip pixels bcs mouse does not send pixel specific numbers. Game records server side data. Sampling data can corrupt information where some of it could not been received on time. In other words this glitch might be duo to unstable network that creats no precision in recorded data.
But the vector of this movement ends before the head with is not human possible for that speed.
dude seemed like he was toggling his aimbot to move to targets but turning it off after he was moused on them. that would be why he wasnt actively tracking when you were alerted to his locks. 90% sure of cheeto. interesting way to try and not be caught though.
He's probably cheating his ass off in non-streamer lobbies, but accidentally toggled back on that one shot..
i'm not sure its cheating. it happened to me once on overwatch 1 where my ping was fluctuating. The moment i got high ping, my mouse skipped frames like that for others pov or replays. While in my pov, i was already aiming at them long before.

He wasn't cheating. It was just Season 9's hitbox changes
The hanzo instaflicked to the right of jay3's body (barely being on his shoulder), WITHOUT correcting his crosshair to the left, and fired. Watch flats slowing down the shot 1:27. Jay3's momentum downward and towards the right was what made it a headshot and the guy BARELY MOVED his crosshair after the initial flick.
Plus, while on bastion he made the exact same weird mouse-skip movement but didn't lock onto anybody 5:05. I think he is experiencing mouse skips but was just lucky with the hanzo shot. Reminds me of what chipsa experienced years ago in ow1 with a dusty mouse

one time i was lagging on hanzo and i was getting a bunch of lucky headshots and it made the replays look sus... just saying...
at 5:35 it snaps again but it doesnt snap to anyone so I wonder if it's just lag? Since that's the second time it did that where it doesn't snap to anyone. Because that would be the weirdest cheat to have that it just snaps to random places.
I watched some of this on stream. Caught the tail end of Def and the replay afterward. Ya'll were hilarious, and this guy got straight dumpstered.
He is just lagging. Look at 11:28, he skips a few frames as well and he's not even aiming at anyone.
No one who who is actually cheating would use it only twice a game, at random, non-decisive moments too.,
he was definitely hacking on that shot. that was not normal. especially if he had the wall hack and still didn't move the mouse towards your outline and just suddenly gets dragged over as you appear was just too unnatural.

I guess it is an AI playing. It detected some pixel movement on the screen and flicked to him. Given no one is in Hanzo's fov prior that and it not detecting that through Widow's ult, you are technically playing against bots 😛

Okay. Big nerd moment from me right now.
im actually 90% sure he isnt cheating but its a ping/internet bug with the replay.
it happens 4-5 times where his camera movement does that weird flick but towards nothing. And what i think is happening is that he is actually moving his mouse over towards where they crosshair ends up but the replay/server or whatever doesnt show the mouse movement but registers that his mouse is somewhere else on his own screen. then knows where his crosshair should be placed and just puts it there in the replay instantly. you can even see that for like 0.5 seconds before the flicks, his mouse doesnt move at all.
and on the clip where Jay gets hit, you can even see that he was moving his mouse in that direction before it looked like he stopped moving it. and it would make sense that he was aiming up there since he had walls on Jay.
But it happened while he was playing and watching the killcam too.

Ya thats exactly what i was rhinking cause that happens to me sometimes when im lagging if i get like a play my shots might look like that and i watch replays back sometimes of when im lagging bad and it looks like that where it dont rlly move and then just jumps across my screen
could be an aimassist given that it doesnt lock onto people but rather moves the crossshair if they are a certain distance away

Had a cheater in my qp lobby who was so bad I didnt realize till the 3rd killcam or so, and nobody else expected anything.

idk jay, it's early season 9 maybe it's a spectator bug cause every new season blizz give us a bunch of bug. But he might be cheating but his cheat is so good that look so real and not that crazy to be sus
also sometime my mouse disconnect and then it reconnect and the computer think i instanly teleport my mouse to the new direction that make the game pov move real quick like that too (welp, we calculate pov moving speed by mouse movement so if your mouse teleport it actually move fast as fk). Cause there's some more shot of him like that but not lock on anything too so he might need a new mouse

Hacks and cheats are so readily available. Also cheap.... like cheating is such an incredibly massive issue, I don't doubt anything looking sus isn't cheats at this point.
Man these gold players in chat are dumb. Aimbot never causes you to randomly lock on thin air. Could be a coincidence but it happens very briefly at 11:28, 10:40 and especially at 5:35 where he locks onto a wall while looking at said wall already on account of the the two instances jay mentioned. Packet loss, mouse accel, and most likely a drity mousepad could all cause this. Mouse pads can affect aim and polling rate more than you think. Some mousepads can even cause you spinout to look like spinbot from flicking too fast because it was poorly made. In this instance its just pixel skipping.
If you pay attention, his aim locks at someone at least 3 times before he hit that shot on you Jay

Well, if I was that Hanzo and if I wasn’t cheating, I would be fucking pissed with this video. Because now he will probably hear some shit comments in game and also won’t be take seriously. So he better be cheating! Being accused without being 100% sure, it’s kinda fucked up. Content creators don’t know the limits…
If he was hacking why’d he only do it for one shot, I think it was just a lucky shot. Like I forgot who it was but there was a genji player that got accused of hacking for flicking straight up towards a phara in the sky, sometimes you just get lucky. I think the shot on you was just luck.

Nah i don't know if this guy is cheating. More like some technical reason for the sus shot. He was simply too good. He played like a GM in a GM game, most times cheaters have terrible game sense. This guy does not.
Also the sus shot at 2nd point flicked to nothing. Which cheat flicks to nothing. Seemed more like a technical issue too.
The clip looked like aim locking, but why only once in the game makes no sense. Propanly not cheater.
If you analyze the whole replay you can clearly see him "flicking" at inhumane speeds to seemingly nothing. Although the flick that the hanzo did as soon as you came into frame as widowmaker seems extremely suspicious, you can also see a slight amount of mouse movement before. I think a probable cause of this would be desync/unstable network connection causing moments of unsent data from the player's side. I believe this somewhat answers how he hit that insane shot on you, as you can see some mouse movement before a desync occurs.
If that was an legit omega flick he would be stunned and not move.

I think that he just got lucky, with where his flick landed. It isn’t impossible. Has some weird mouse movements at random times too, but that could be mouse issues, as it doesn’t lock onto anything. It could look unnatural for various reasons, but don’t think that he is cheating.

@@Coppercalb it’s a flick..it also does land past Jay and he kind of moves into it lol. There’s various aim styles with Hanzo, given his mobility and ability to shoot. Ads and shoot logs at people; not moving the cursor but either strafe, or jump in the direction to hit the shot; and finally flicking. Most of your flicks won’t land on the head and needs to be released during the flick (as Jay explained), but sometimes it is possible - which is not even the case here, as his flick did go past Jay (watch Flats slow it down).

His k/d for the match didn’t show much. If he intended to turn on his cheats for that one shot which he took, then ggwp to him. Then he may have fooled me xD. But on the balance of probabilities, I doubt that is the case. He just got a lucky flick. It’s not low level game play either. It’s possible that he hits those more often than the average player. If you watch high level gameplay from other games, you see crazy things too. Some players more consistently than others (because they are better). Jay’s shot on him as Soj was crazy too. He called himself a cheeto :).

The arduino picked up the enemy outline colour right as Jay walked in view and snapped to it.

it doesn't look normal, most of his "good" hits are powered by wall hacks if you check it closely. You can't rly explain it with a game sense as Arrge has. 100% cheater.
It's just a bit of lag. From his perspective he might have taken a little bit more time to aim, but the lag made it instant from your perspective.
1 shot out off the entire game is sus, I believe it is extremely weird and would report.. but honestly everything else is legit, so with that in mind I don't think he's cheating
While i do agree that he was cheating, if this player were to come forward claiming not to be cheating but to be playing with a mouse accleration program i would believe them. They play angles like someone who plays alot of tac fps games, ie... flicking to some common off angles and or walkways with insane speeds. They seem to have had the game knowlegde and abilty to play in the top 500 or atleast GM.
100% cheater, no doubt about it. I HATE cheaters with a passion, they are quite literally scum, and I've spent hours watching videos and learning about different types of cheats and hacks so I can report them when I see them. I would take a stab at saying they're quite a seasoned cheater though and pretty smart with how they use it too because let's face it, without the major screw up on the shot where it killed you, this would have gone unnoticed. However, the same with real life criminals, if you search close enough, you get to see the dirt marks.
For the most, I believe this person is using a mixture of aimlocking and redoutline. Redoutline is always tricky to detect so you have to think about normal human gaming physics to really notice it, but it's one that's very commonly used on people like Soldier and Sojourn, and it's also easier to detect when they are shooting larger-bodied, close up characters, which is what we see on the Sojourn play. The autolocking comes in to play much more on the Hanzo, and that's evident at 5:56 (people are saying they lock to the Zen behind, but I believe it's locking BACK to Flats because Hanzo swings too far left with the shots) and at 9:23 with the snap to Sigma/Flats at the right behind the wall. Potential to also have wall hacks because of that and the strange action at 11:30 (definitive adjustment to the correct area to jump and shoot the Zen). Also, if you notice when he climbs walls, the camera snaps back to the centre. As for the outright F up he does on you and the strange action at 5:15, I'm assuming these are slip ups or maybe the script has cracked with the new hitboxes and it's randomly going Terminator mode. Again, subtle and smart cheater, but 100% cheater. Anyone that says otherwise is in denial, is naive and doesn't know what to look for, or stupid. Maybe all 3.

Is it just me or was his entire gameplay mediocre? I mean the cheater not Jay. His aim his movement his positioning were all...nothing special. He is supposed to be a gm right but This is the kind of gameplay I usually see in plat/dia.
