what i find mesmerizing. Is that if there's NPC Bards around you, they'll join you to your song, adding more instruments and melody, on top of civilians and guards alike coming to enjoy the music... this is how you make a game with alot of soul.

@@samurai-butterfly7393 I wasn't planning on uploading the footage I took to my channel, but seeing as you clearly lead an incredibly boring and shut in life that you think this is somehow extraordinarily unlikely, here's some footage I managed to take of the band playing (not sharing pictures of the wider event out of respect for their privacy)

This song sounds very reminiscient of one of your previous works, I'm thinking of bard's tale, which is part of the knights of honour OST. That ost holds a dear place in my heart and having this song remind of it was a joy I was not expecting when listening to random BG3 songs. :)
Bard Dance is my favourite out of all the various bard songs too. :) Old Time Battles is pretty good too, although the actual combat theme blows the bard version away.
This is such a great track. It's just a short piece of music, yet there’s so much to discover in it. No matter how many times you listen to it, it never gets old. Thank you for this outstanding piece.
You don't understand the chills and overflow of good memories when I listen to this. I would give an unFATHOMABLE AMOUNT OF MONEY to experience this game again

Bard is my go-to, I love it when we get to Act 3 and there are so many bards around and we all just start playing together. And the shopkeeper in Baldur's where you can talk to him for hours about what you both love

It makes me feel like I am a wood elf flowing through an enchanted forest full of mystical whim and energy. Like the thing that gets played after a beautiful hard fought journey, and you are finally on your way to clearer skies. Moving fast paced across the ocean surface on a beautiful ship navigating the great mysteries of the world. It's just something that makes you look for the magic in everything. That wonderous spark of melody to uplift your soul each and every time. Beautiful, it really is just a beautiful piece of work. 🎉 Will never stop this song from taking over my thoughts to guide me into the fantasies my brain never had music for.
Forgot to equip my violin after the entire Loviatar scene and noticed this, was wondering why my Tiefling bard was whistling when I realized I couldn't see his instrument 😅

I've been playing co-op where our characters all have instrument proficiency, and basically whenever a character is falling behind we all start playing music while we wait for each other. Usually ends up being Bard Dance because it has so many layers of call and response. Did you know it actually has two lute tracks? You can pretty much hear both at ruclips.net/video/wk7xOKXw5wA/видео.htmlsi=aJJacOMZ3aaqACh0&t=40
You can knock her and the other masked individuals out, same as the first Ethel encounter, and they’ll still be alive. Sort of. 25% survivability’s still good, right?
Played this in the Guild headquarters as a duet with one of the members there, right in the middle of the Minsc sidequest. Don't think Jaheira was too pleased but I needed a jam session.
I have a few mods. One lets me create as many custom party members as I like. Completely separate from my party, I have a group of 5 bards skinned to be completely black with glowing red eyes, each one named after the instrument they play. I just sort of send them around the place playing for ambiance. They have ridiculous AC, so enemies tend to ignore them, so sometimes I just have them show up at fights and play there
In the game you find lyrics which are supposedly for the song Bard Dance. I wonder if they mean this song? Cause I can't quite figure out how the lyrics match the melody. They are: Kick your heels together, feet off the ground, Hands in the air and twirl around! Step once to the left and twice to the right, Then four times ahead, carefree as a sprite! Take a long bow, as deep as you can, And start the whole dance all over again!
I can picture my Tav dancing with Karlach, with a few dexterity checks to make sure we don’t stomp each other’s feet ! A sequence where you can dance with your partner would be awesome
My ranger Tav was playing this song, on the lute Alfira gave her, at camp, and a bard hireling that she recruited started playing on their fiddle. I thought it sounded a bit off, so the hireling got the flute (that Astarion liberated from the Druid's Grove) instead. The song sounded much better after that.
