Padawan Outpost is fantastic, I ordered one of their Collections Edition Sabers from KR, had a small issue on my end, and they were quick to help out and get everything sorted! Jim even packed my order! I never ordered from DX, but I did get into an argument with him on the r/lightsabers subreddit 🤣
Cool man it's always good to hear positive feedback for padawan. Like I said they really do look after their customers. And does not surprise me about DX lol I've literally seen him on live chat telling angry customers to F off and ban them from his stream!!?? Customer 1st customer journey 1st and everyone wins in my opinion
i was going to do all that you where talking about i was going to buy from saber forge but it was too expensive and i heard some bad things about it then i was looking at some cheap sabers but luckily i found this sabersmith that made custom lightsabers saved up and bought the conan saber for 150 best purchase i have ever done glad to see your back on your feet cant wait to see what you make next
I disagree with cheap doesn't mean good! i bought a fully retractable lightsaber 5 years ago for £15 from disney and it is the most realistic unbreakable saber i own 🤷♂️😂 Thanks for the educational video and i absolutely agree with padawan being a very safe option for purchasing a saber for the first time. These sabers look absolutely horrible and its disappointing these are even being sold but I guess the taget audience are kids who are desperate for anything similar to a lightsaber for cheap. Also cant believe you did Jim dirty like that 😡but the again you were first...🤣 And can't wait for sunday 🤘
Totally get what you mean and sounds like a great buy there buddy. Sadly there's alot out there that don't turn out that way. But I am cheap so I'll keep trying the cheap options I'm sure 😂
Even expensive doesn't guarantee good result always. I bought a saber for over £500 from a company in Canada and the electronics are trash basically. The hilt and blade were good. But it just ended up being a shelf queen till i can get it reinstalled with CFX.
Yeah true man. I know there are sellers online right now selling the same sabers but a huge huge markup to the point it's almost disgusting. But again this is where the looking around comes in and checking out the company / reviews. But well made point

I have my own personal opinion which many have agreed with but I feel that's quite a biased option and wouldn't be fair of me to share. I can say there are alot of very happy customers who own those sabers and if someone is lucky enough to get the chance to get one while being there and creating it themselves it's priceless and more about the experience and the memory it's associated to and that's worth alot more to alot of those owners. Sounds like an Electrum Sabercrafts... i too own one.... its a damn shame because their hilts are amazing, the electronics have ruined their brand.
