My aunt was 72 in failing health. I watched the series with her, it made her so happy to see the Giants win, me too. She passed a few months later. A truly special memory.
Giants need to rebuild now and part ways with this old team. Yes that means buster, bumgarner, etc. I know it hurts but it must be done if they wanna compete later on
Yup me too! I always feel like all the fans who went to heaven before this happened after all that tine, were basking in the GLORY of this memory too!! Magic!
Buster Posey was truly THE missing piece to make our team true contenders. But he also brought a classic unshakable aura to our team that no one could match.
2010 World Series win was so emotional for me personally. My Dad passed away two years earlier and he didn't get to see this. He is the reason I'm a passionate SF Giants fan. We watched alot of bad Giants games, but there first in San Francisco meant so much. Love you Dad. Thanks for giving me the SF Giants ⚾
I remember my father telling me how he waited his whole life to see this happen, and how it may never happen again in either of our lifetimes. Boy, was he wrong. What a 5 year trip.
TheDodgerssuck Giants never really had to deal with Angles fans rubbing it in or reminding them of that loss . But living in the Bay Area it always got thrown in our faces about being swept. That’s where it’s far more painful.
The Giants had those three championships over the early years of the 2010’s. As great as the 2012 and 2014 teams were, 2010 will always hold a special place for me. I will love that team the rest of my life.
I remember pulling over the car in queens ny, to hear the final 3 outs on the radio. I was with my ex & she was like why we stopped. I had to explain to her the SF giants were my team & that it had been a while since they won a World Series. 46 years 😂
This moment lives rent free in my head and has since 2010 😌 i was a sophomore in high school and this and the 2012 win were like my defining memories in high school
An all time great manager. I thought he was awful his first couple seasons with the Giants, but he had nothing to work with, but an old roster without the talent to compete. He let that drawl and manager-speak fool me. As soon as the Giants got that injection of young talent, they took off under him. I remember telling Rangers fans to not let the drawl and cliches fool them. I, uh, did not expect him to win a World Series right away with them 😂
My dad a huge life long giants fan, I remember the Angels series and how sad he was. Glad I got to enjoy a 6 run with him and my giants fans side of the family. The other half love the Dodgers lol
My mother passed in 09. She loved the Giants when they played in the Polo.Gtounds in NY. She shared her love of the Giants with me I am sure she saw three WS championships in five years in heaven Love the Giants grit pitching and comroaderie Wison in 10 Romo in 12 Madison in 14 Love how they clinched the world series championships
Wilson had some of the most nail bitting saves in 2010. if I recall correct it would be 1 run games going into the 9th he would throw 40 pitches but get the job done. that season in general was as exactly how Kruk and Kuip coined it. it was torture. every game was a 1 run game
Rangers fans applauding the giants after losing the World Series and chanting “lets go giants” showed a lot of class. Nothing but respect for the Texas rangers team, fanbase and organization as a whole.
I remember holding my nephew (only 5 years old at the time) in my arms as the Giants won their 1st WS in SF. It was a great moment that I will never forget.
I was in kindergarten when they won in 10. Now I’m a senior in high school and lived through 3 giants world series. More than most ppl get to see their whole lives
Emotional win for me, my Grandfather passed away that August. 52 years of being a Giants fan since they came to the Bay Area. My last conversation we talked about sports and he asked me about baseball and who I was picking. He said the Tigers and I said you can't bet against the Giants. I remember him sitting there smiling and saying you can't bet against the Giants. Some of my best memories where having my Grandmother his wife over for many of the key games vs Philly and the WS that October. Just wish he could have made it a couple more months.
Now Bochy this time in 2010 and flashback to current day has initiated a redemption. There will always be a connection now. Thank you Giants for our loss because it was the pave stone for our first title.
Man, what happened to Wilson? He DOMINATED up until 2012 ish, then he just pretty much dropped off the face of the earth, and now he's pretty much disappeared from the public eye....
Jon Miller: the legendary voice of the Baltimore Orioles, the San Francisco Giants and ESPN Sunday Night ⚾️, long before Dan Shulman took over for the latter!
I cried when they won. As I was heartbroken when they didn't win in 2002. Despite having to wait 8 more years to get another chance, it was worth the wait.
im a massive giants fan and when they won it my mom told me to soak it in now because they probably wont win another one for a long time, 3 years later they won it twice. lol.
Loved seeing 49000+ silenced and stunned. They opened their mouths a lot just because they beat the Yankees in the ALCS but the Giants shut their mouths.
Crazy how Boch was the manager when the Giants finally broke throigh and won their first WS in SF. Boch was the manager when the Rangers finally broke through and won their first WS last season.
It's sad how short the careers are for most pitchers these days. It's like how quickly most runningbacks are out of the NFL in like 2-3 years. I wish Brian Wilson was still as prominent as he was back in these days. Such a hilarious dude.
My aunt was 72 in failing health. I watched the series with her, it made her so happy to see the Giants win, me too. She passed a few months later. A truly special memory.
Integrity Estate Sales and Liquidations so sad to hear about your aunt
Sorry about that man
She'll always be with you man.
Sorry bro , stay with God and Jesus for help
Just know that she passed away knowing her hometown team is a champion!
Here I am in 2018 watching this with the biggest grin on my face and a tear in my eye. Great memories
rebel4669 Right here with ya bud.
Giants need to rebuild now and part ways with this old team. Yes that means buster, bumgarner, etc. I know it hurts but it must be done if they wanna compete later on
Same here
Yup me too! I always feel like all the fans who went to heaven before this happened after all that tine, were basking in the GLORY of this memory too!! Magic!
Thing is, we can’t trade Buster. His contract is locked up for a few more years.
Buster's reaction is so priceless. Rookie kid plays pivotal role in a WS champion in his first year. What a legend.
Buster Posey was truly THE missing piece to make our team true contenders. But he also brought a classic unshakable aura to our team that no one could match.
All 3 worlds series won on the road :o

^^^^^^
Giants fan since 1966.
Here we are 11 years later and this still brought tears to my eyes.
❤❤❤
What memories!! I waited 56 years for that!! And who would have thought,, they did it again in 2012 and 2014!! BEAUTIFUL!!!
I was 3 years old when the giants lost to the angels in game 7 in 2002. Witnessing the giants win it all in 2010 was the greatest thing ever.
kelvin cabrera honest to God I hadn't watched that WS until the Giants won it in 2010. It just hurt too much.
I was 2 so I don’t remember the 2002 but my grandpa used to tell me about it
Then you’re blessed to not had to watch them get swept in 89
@@schuncke getting swept is nowhere near as painful as being able to taste the victory, to only pull russ ortiz and watch the cookie crumble

Geez, I broke down and cried after that last strike. Never thought I’d see them win a World Series and then they gave me two more. 🎉🎉🎉
The Giants had those three championships over the early years of the 2010’s. As great as the 2012 and 2014 teams were, 2010 will always hold a special place for me. I will love that team the rest of my life.
Man I miss these days 😢
Im a yankee fan and I was happy how San Francisco won this world series
Yeah because my Rangers smacked your Yankees.
@@tylermcgrew4035 not only that, that giants franchise started in New York

One of the greatest moments of my life, I can remember it like it was yesterday!

The curse of 2016... where everything didn't go well at all. Not for the 49ers, the GSW and last of all, the Giants
Rubin the sharks
J B it made my childhood. Best *days* of my life (10, 12, 14)
J B Josh Hamiltom, Vladamir Guerrero, and Nelson Cruz....1,2,3,..
little did we know this was the rangers' first step toward becoming the Buffalo bills of baseball
Lmfao
And now with the Dodgers recent WS losses, they're on their way into becoming that
Id say the Dodgers
Eypi Freeley now it’s the Dodgers
The Atlanta Braves did that
2010: Nelson Cruz strikes out to end world series
2011: Nelson Cruz can't catch a flyball, essentially ending the Rangers' chance.

13 years to the day, Bochy won his first WS as manager of the Giants and now he's won his 4th with the team he beat.

This out brought out some man tears.
This was the greatest moment of my life to witness this ....I've waited for the Giants to win the world series since I was a kid in the 70s
10yrs ago today... pure magic, still!
The beginning of a dynasty
not when repeating or making the playoffs
Louis Warren and then the Dynasty ended Against the Cubs LOL

3 WS wins in a 5 season span is impressive. Giants owned the decade
Lol check their record this year. Try again.

Pandabearmadness the Phillies series was awful both teams had lousy hitting but elite pitching
Giants baseball = Torture
But in the end the Giants would always pull through. It’s what made them special they were the team that refused to lose.
Seeing Posey and Wilson today for "Buster Posey Day" brought me back to this video and relived this victory!!
Rangers fans applauding the giants after losing the World Series and chanting “lets go giants” showed a lot of class. Nothing but respect for the Texas rangers team, fanbase and organization as a whole.

First ever World Series championship for the SAN FRANCISCO Giants. All three of their titles were won on the road. That is okay.
This will never ever get old!

Idk man that game 7 against the Royals was insane
What ever happened to Brian Wilson? What a legend.
Oh he just retired
Ironically, 13 years later, Bruce Bochy led the Texas Rangers to their first-ever World Series title.
What a performance by Wilson. Getting out the MVP Josh Hamilton, hall of famer Vlad Guerrero, and Nelson Cruz to win it all
i know exactly where i was when this happened, truly special moment
Here i am in 2020 watching this!!..
Happiest day of my life
Just watched this for like the 20th time! This is what a romantic Giant's fan does cherishing the team from across the SF bay...win!

Magic times. I was beside myself with joy for the team and us fans. Hope it happens again before I leave this mortal coil.
Had to relive this moment after the 49ers superbowl loss in OT

He had a second tommy John surgery and tried pitching for LA. He retired.
