I'd add Mega Rayquaza itself to the list of good megas to use. Not only does it hit like a flaming truck (ties with Mega Glalie in damage despite doing only 1.6x damage instead of 2.56x damage), but it also boosts its allies while it's not attacking too, like Primal Boost does. Mega Diancie should get a shout out too because it resists every big move Rayquaza can throw at it and also deals very respectable damage.

This guy just casually forgets the number 1 ice type attacker in the game 😂 How is Kyurem not on the list? He's the number one mega ray counter with shadow mamo in number 2
It varies wildly from group to group because 1) Good optimal counters are scarce, not everyone has a full team of powered up shadow mamoswines. 2) Elite Mega Ray hits phenomenally hard, so damage dealt can be inconsistent if your pokemon drops right before launching a charge move If everyone has level 35 budget counters (say, 3 glaceons and 3 cetitans, high IVs, optimal movesets), no friendship boost and no weather boost: 4+ trainers. A strong, realistic team with level 40 to 50 representatives of the top counters mentioned in the video and the smallest friendship boost: 3+ trainers. The perfect team full of shadow mamoswines and a mega rayquaza in the back boosting everyone, plus party power and max friendship: 2+ trainers. So, the most realistic value is 4+ trainers. Without good ice types it easily shoots up to 6+, though.
who would like to trade to shiny rayquaza to me cause in june 30 its my friends' bday and i plan surprising my friend but since there is is no gyms i my area i can't really fight the raid btw the only thing i can trade is shadow ariticuno, shiny darkrai, zygarde, shiny landorus, genesect , shaymin , Meloetta thats all if you want to trade im online in 29 cause were gonna prepare a plan were to go on his bday

You can raid Mega Rayquaza with 3 trainers using Party Play with 2 or 3 sets of pokemon. I got it with my parents

shadows cannot be traded
plus if you happen to get a traded shiny rayquaza you won't be able to trade it again to your friend
