I think it would be a good daily driver. I've been driving mine consistently for almost a year now and no major problems. Just remember that it's an old car, so issues will pop occasionally unless you get the whole car refreshed. And depending on who you buy your Z from, you may have to deal with oil leaks and worn suspension as well. But the NA Z is definitely more reliable than the BMW for sure and more cheaper to fix.
