I have mine under the deck. You can have it near people. One of the great things about it❣️ When we moved into our forever home on a lake, the deck ceiling was solid black with insects. I purchased the DT. Two days later, no bugs! 4 yrs later we can swim in the pool and hang in the back yard bite free. All our friends have purchased one🤗

instead of using hair dryer you can use mosquito repellant on them and try out which ones are the most effective at killing them so you know in the future!

Yeah putting repellent in the trap is a great idea..... You don't want them getting near the trap in order for the trap to work properly............

You need to replace the light bulbs about every 4 months of use so they keep producing whatever attracts them and you can also use another attractant inside the thing that works well too but that one is required but bulbs are.

Its not the UV light itself that does it ;) It features a fluorescent UV bulb and a titanium dioxide-coated surface that releases CO2.
