  • 🇮🇳 As an Englishman I love a cup of tea and on an early morning market exploration in Amritsar, India I met a lovely man who has been making tea in the same spot since 1979. Join me as I chat to him and the vegetable sellers by the side of the busy Indian street.

    Hi Bald, I have to laugh, I love watching your videos, they're addictive and help me relive my times there now that I'm stuck at home in Australia. I think I just watched 4 in a row.
    Now I know you know lots of good Hindi, but I thought I'd help you out with some of the vegetables that confused you. The long white carrot-shaped veg called Mouli, is a type of radish. The red carrot that you thought was a strange parsnip, or radish, or something, was actually a red carrot (Gajar). The Aubergine/eggplant are called Baign (sounds like baygun, but shorten the end sound).
    Banana = Kela
    Mandarin/Tangarine = Narangi (thank you Rohit Saxena)
    Lemon = Nimboo
    Potato = Aloo
    Spinach = Palak
    Peas = Mutter
    I can't think of any more, its 1am and my brain is full.
    I look forward to your next adventure.

    I have been 6 month in Philippines. India reminds me of Philippines. Noisy towns with kaos, in a good way. Great nature and much to see. But most of all, people seems to be friendly and nice. Just like in Philippines!

    I watched this vlog.. just 2 days ago... and I again rewatched... because that's how immersive they are... your vlogging style..is a breath of fresh air on RUclips... it's highly engrossing, engaging... you literally feel like you're there. I think it's a lot to do with your camera as well & how inconspicuous it is... I don't know.. but whatever it is..DON'T CHANGE IT.

    I watch your videos on a 27"monitor @ 1080p, the picture quality of your videos is amazing. The camera you use is not a fancy expensive one, but it's quality is as good as the China Vloggers I watch that use $1000+ cameras. I watch and enjoy Harald's channel as well, but his GoPro just doesn't look as crisp and clear as your videos. Keep up the fine work, Sir. :)
