NO-BGM. So, this was supposed to be my 18th birthday video (Feb 3rd, 2015). Then it became a 4000 sub special. And then my 19th bday vid. And now... well, it's just a video made with lots of love and effort. I guess it can be said that it's my most ambitious project ever. And proof that a project CAN get finished even after years of procrastination.
Now, half of the visual work here was done in 2015, and I'm not really satisfied with those parts (specifically 0:00 to 0:35; 1:09 to 1:43; and 2:05 to 2:28), so please bear with me.
As for the audio, I reworked it heavily just a few hours ago, as I felt like it didn't represent how I really feel about audio editing nowadays, nor did it represent my current audio skill. If you want to listen to the old audio, here it is: puu.sh/tfEZv/73...
Back then I was entirely focused on not using any external (VST) effects, so the old audio was almost 100% done with Sony's FX pack. Now I'm focused on making things sound as good as possible, so yeah, now there are lots of VSTs on it.
Finally, I gotta thank some people here for making this possible. Fox, and +tek even more for helping me boost my audio skills to a whole new level starting from 2015; Soul Strike for motivating me and giving me some visual resources to keep this going, and Mreaggle for the Wild Cards effect I used on 2:05.
I don't know if I'll keep doing this in the future, so I won't promise you guys anything anymore. I'll see you all someday, I guess. I hope you enjoy this.

Fun fact: Some of the visual segments have the wrong visual representation for the snare. That's because I switched the sample when I decided to rework the audio. Namely, the confetti sample on 0:12 got switched with the Uogokoro-kun sample that shows up right afterwards.
Fun fact 2: This has been on the works since January 2015 and its prototypes date back to December 2014. Wow. It's also my first main video since moving to a distant town to study (hence why I've been "dead" nowadays).

Visuals are outstanding, the theme/feel that is placed on the visuals adds a lot to the feel of the song. I love the sound too, although I'm unfimiliar with the original, I still love this. Yeah, I don't what else to say; the visuals are perfect in every way. 10/10

i just have one question, how do you usually work on your percussion? It isnt a huge problem for me but sometimes kicks are hard for me to EQ correctly or i just have a hard time creating a clear and crisp kick
I went through a pretty unsual process for the kick. Usually, people look for a strong sample and then they EQ it by raising the low frequencies, making it even stronger. By doing this you'll get the kick sample from my old version. However, I chose a pretty unexpected, weak-sounding sample, and applied a VST called YOU WA SHOCK to it. This is the result: puu.sh/sEtr3/eda69fa2ee.mp3
Not only that, instead of focusing on the low frequencies via EQ, I boosted mostly the high ones instead to make it more "present", or should I say, clearer. Most of the time, boosting the lows will only make things worse, the sample might get distorted, for example. Specially if it's an already strong-sounding sample.

You might want to mess around with the modulation frequency to suit your needs.

This is incredible and I love it, but it doesn't sound like your audio style, it's closer to something tek would make (which is not bad by the way)
This is actually how I've been working since 2015, I just didn't publish anything other than Big Finale to prove it. What you remember of me is from the Gartemond era, which I don't really like anymore. However, I was indeed inspired by tek's audio style, which I really like. I still feel like I do my stuff in a more unique way compared to him, though.

Yeah, and I admire that. I watched quite a lot of YTPMVs, and most of them didnt sound like a actual remix at all. Plus, the sources you use arent too overrated, and you still make something amazing even with anime sources (since I`ve barely saw any YTPMVs being good with a anime source, though I havent watched many so there`s that), so yeah, its definitely something to admire. I was seriously considering making YTPs/YTPMVs for quite a while now, but I never really given too much thought (which is pretty sad, because I have some pretty great ideas for one, but never really came through on a actual YTP. I would probably do Michael Rosen shit, though), but I always love the people that do that, especially on a scale like this.

I had some help from my friends and inspiration from other videos too, such as on 0:58. This part was entirely Soul Strike's idea. And on 2:28, which was based on a video called "2024 k" by BlueKhezu.

apesar da unicidade dos meus áudios, uso o mesmo programa que o resto dos brasileiros: Vegas Pro (12 e 13).
a diferença está em saber como escolher e o que fazer com as samples, e não no software
