I hope you all enjoyed the video! Don't forget there is a fully prepared shopping list in the description box! Is there anything you would add to this kit?
For the last 2 years of keeping goats iv always miss my kids being born every time iv just nipped out and when I get back there there up and running around im hoping this spring to catch it
Very good information. That makes me think we should bui,d us a kidding box and have it all right there. We do have a Med box. Wow lots of good info. Been looking this year at the selenium stuff and that is scary. We have kiko and kiko mix goats and thus far no issues but I can see where that would be to have on hand. We are finished for our 2021 kidding season for now might have a few later but all is well. Thanks for sharing that info.
Any time! And yes I fully agree a dedicated kidding kit even if it means having some duplicate items separate from the general emergency kit is super helpful. Nothing like digging through a bloated medical kit when there isn't a second to spare!
Just found your channel and subscribe and love your videos and i have a channel also moonlight hill family farm if u like to watch us and thank u for this video we own 7 ladys and 4 are pregnant and due in March 10th and on im soso excited

Molasses is really good to have when in labor
Great ideas! I always weigh in a reusable shopping bag I find it more stable than the slings that the lambs and kids can wiggle out of
Hey, that's a great idea! Then maybe mine would see some use lol I always forget them in the car when grocery shopping 😅

What is the stethoscope for? Is it even useful in the hands of an untrained homesteader?
Who said I was untrained? And yes it is VERY useful especially checking for the sounds of a functioning rumen.
