6:02 I have a problem with this way of speech. I've heard of it from the UK. It isn't fitting well for this situation, no one should contract something like HIV.
Great question, Aimee! This video is also a training module on Betco.com. If you go to this page www.betco.com/resources/log-in?ReturnUrl=www.betco.com/litmos-course/354020 then log in or register, you can take the module and/or quiz.
Hello, Did you also complete the lesson section? The video is optional, however, you must go through the lessons and complete the activities. It should be right below the video section and above the quiz section.
Hi Aleasha, If you log into Betco.com and go to Betco U, click on OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen. Click on achievements and find the class name. Click download certificate. If you need further assistance, please fill out a contact us form: www.betco.com/about/contact-us
In order for bleach to function properly as a disinfectant or sanitizer, the surface MUST be pre-cleaned prior to the application of bleach. Disinfecting and sanitizing with bleach is a two-step process. Bleach’s shelf life is unstable and depends on the age and storage conditions. The amount of active chlorine within the bleach will vary per product. Sodium hypochlorite, a.k.a bleach, will break down into salt and water which is why it is important to never store bleach in warm areas. A fresh solution of bleach must be made prior to disinfection or sanitation. The water ions or hardness and soil contaminants from a dirty container can adversely affect available chlorine ppms.
These instructional videos are extremely informative and easy to understand.
Thanks for watching!
