I only saw one throttle question below, so I'm going to ask if you actually found out if the throttle works when in assisted mode. I found on mine to get stuck @ lights in sport, normal and assisted if my setting on the controller was 4 or 5. But if I'm in setting 1, 2 or 3 my throttle works but like you said if your on a higher gear it's hard to even take off. I'm going to call Engwe and find if my controller is working properly or not. If you rotate the thumb throttle upward ,you can leave your thumb just over the throttle but twist your wrist down and that should help with the thumb issue
if they don’t sell the battery separately you will have to make it yourself please describe it I just ordered in a couple of days I will have it I didn’t think about the battery
I have been searching for batteries 10 and 19.2 ah and contacted Engwe company, but I have not gotten a response from them or eBay. Where can you buy them?
I got x26 out of box. Wheels wobble a bit (1mm), can straighten them? Lights only turn on for 1 second. What could be problem? What about riding in rain?
That battery setup is not great. They sure have put a battery equalizer so you don’t have to disconnect one to use the other. Have the internal battery contacts in the frame.
That and the back seat issue instead of luggage carrying capability put me off. It's a pity as it's otherwise an attractive looking bike that looks stealth like.
I'm not sure where you get the 1,000 watt rate from.. It's a 750 watt nominal with like 60 Nm of torque I believe.. 1,200 peak watts is a number tossed out by some sources.
One of the sellers in Estonia sells same bike with 1300watt power. 2100€ price 😃. Going to buy it, he putted together also so, no problem to pay little extra.

With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
I own an ENGWE Foldable, Fat Tire and it's a great bike. Does 29 on flats. However, ENGWE has zero customer service and not much luck with talking to anyone who speaks English. Good Luck Sir.
I agree. I'm working with Engwe on some of the issues, who knows if they will address them. They will add a charge port through the frame to charge the internal battery on future models.
beware engwe sent me defective x26 with stuck batt engwes fix was to tell me to pry out batt with screwdriver and sand a brand new ebike 🤪🤯 or to take to shop pay $300 and wait for a check. engwe also asked me to lie via email.

I do not like that wire you have to change from one battery to the other. That will rust, corrode, brake and deteriorate. It'll get destroyed in short time.

The top tube seems very high. Even for a 26" tire back. I wonder if a shorter person will be able to ride it?
It is very high. I do not think this will be a good fit for shorter people.

You used 19 amp hours in 15 miles, that doesn't seem right at all..That bike is just engineered awful, unless your a giant..
I did not charge batteries before riding.
This bike is a no for me too slow and complicated when it comes to pedal and throttle.
get the engine pro, same speed, roughly same range... save $$$
