We NEED more Gilbert and Anne in the next season. They’re so in love I can’t handle it. I’m not saying a kiss per se, even though I really really want that. Maybe at least some acknowledgement that they like each other. Like they could lean in for a kiss and be like an inch away before getting interrupted by Diana or something. Or they could hug for a long time. Ohh or they could do the classic “hugging the girl when she’s upset even though she’s fighting it but she eventually gives in and cries in his arms” id love to see that.
I want her to fall into the stream and be so proud/stubborn that she almost doesn't accept Gilbert's help. That was one of my favorite scenes in the books and in the show from a couple of decades back.

So here’s a personal input: That moment at bash and mary’s wedding, while they were saying their vows, notice how at the center, anne and gilbert were like emphasised, lt feels like a foreshadowing which makes my heart happy! Then at the end scene while they were facing each other, there was this couple who exited the church and went their separate ways. It felt like it was a hint of what would happen to the both of them, like maybe if there is a season 3. It could mean that they’ll be together for a while then circumstances will separate them again. It felt like it was the present and the future in a single scene and it was wonderful. This keeps me going until they release season 3! #annewithaneseason3
To me, Gilbert just has a sense of safety and serenity so when he was gone it felt like Anne was so exposed and vulnerable:( i hate it. I can’t wait for season 3
