  • I had just returned home from sea level a few weeks ago and decided why not ride my little electric dirtbike up to 12,700 ft on one of the hardest and most dangerous singletrack trails near me? Well it was by far the most difficult ride of my life and I can't wait to go back. After a few modifications of course.
To make my bike just that much better to ride I added the following modifications:
    - MAGURA MT7 BRAKES
    www.amazon.com...
    - MAGURA FRONT ROTOR
    www.amazon.com...
    - MAGURA CALIPER SPACER ( the wording on amazon is weird but the ones I got are the "Taglia Unica")
    www.amazon.com...
    - ODI GRIPS
    www.amazon.com...
    - MT7 BRAKE BLEED KIT
    www.amazon.com...
    - QUADLOCK STEM MOUNT
    www.amazon.com...
    - All Warp 9 Products
    www.warp9racin...
WOOHOO! You made it to the bottom!
Just for you I have a special project I personally have been working on. Click the first link to see my website, and the second to see it on Amazon.

nice to see someone taking their talaria off road. i think all too often these electric dirtbikes are just turned into over glorified street e-bikes with 60 mile an hour speeds.

I am not a professional but here's my two bits. If you keep some speed up it will help you roll over the roots and rocks on the switchbacks and then you are not pushing or working the bike as hard. It is also a little easier to stand up which will give you better movement on the bike. I run a 48t which is a nice compromise from the 44t but if you are going to be doing a lot of trails like this a 52t or bigger may be the ticket. Awesome ride for sure!

I totally agree. I need more momentum for sure. Getting that 52 tooth should definitely help me keep my speed up.
Maybe I won’t have to be full throttle the entire way up next time 😂

Nice man. I like guys like you that keep it mostly stock and use it offroad.
I noticed the Sting R comes with a lot of mods you did in the video (the bar is raised, the pegs already have that bar). Really like your tutorials, see I'm not the only one having trouble with the bolts. Liked to see you using heat. I did use force/shocks for mine (when doing oil change).

Dude I suffered with you so much getting root blocked over and over again :D, I had to control my breath watching this! As said, I'm a heavy guy as well, so I will be breathing heavily too! :D I saw that all of the Talarias only allow 100kg load, which would be too little, but I'm willing to risk it. I've been thinking about getting the RFN Rally Pro, which allows 120kg, but the Talarias are easier to get over here in Germany. Is it holding up to your weight fine, are you within the 100kg? Asking for a friend! ;-)

are these the OEM tires? if so new tires could help you get over those roots and gain better traction
