Gundula Janowitz was wonderful in Mozart. There is an ineffable quality. A must to see here on RUclips is her Ach ich fuhl's from 1964 - amongst the finest singing I have ever heard and certainly the best Pamina. I have always liked Karl Bohm as a conductor of Mozart too.
