Meanwhile in December 2023, 6 squarebody donor trucks later: YES, we finally did it, we welded all the good parts together and now we have 1 good squarebody and about a million spareparts and 2-4 semi-working engines.

That FL corrosion did a number on that truck. That injected foam was pretty crazy. The sandblasting segment was pretty cool though. Could that be an ASMR video?

It's cheaper to fix what you have with parts from LMC than to roll the dice on another one. All these trucks have the same issues and it would be better to trust the evil you know

I enjoyed that. The same blasting was cool. And it looks like there is a lot of interesting work to be done.

Only one thing is worse than this: cars where only marked panel/frame plate relates to the title, everything else is welded to this panel from another body, stolen or insurance fraud.

There was a 4 door dually that sat with a for sale sign for months. It was only $2,500 too, it just wasn’t advertised. Looked to be in decent shape but I didn’t have room for that huge truck.

Jeep filled the WJ grand Cherokee with foam from the factory for sound reduction. Needless to say they rot out BAD because of it....

Bought a 1964 Jeep J2000 15 years ago, solid, minimal rust..................no, painted so many times, it was the paint holding it together. Pushed on the rockers, felt like a sponge. Didn't even bother having it stripped. Bought a cab from California.

The foam can be melted with acetone, just spray that into all the foam and let it drip out.
