Very useful tip to eliminate potential failure point. Thanks Rich!
Whaahoo You !!! All this time I just thought it was ware and tear and never looked very hard at these !!! Im a dk !!! Now I have 3 months work to go through my planes... We don't know what we don't know .... such is life !!! Thankyou 😉😎
Excellent tip. Once the servo plugs are connected I wrap the connection with office tape or servo connector retaining clips which are made for the purpose.
Great tip Rich. It also brought back memories of me trying to make my own Bind plug when I first got in the sport. I’m at the field, I have the place to myself, 2 planes, 4 batteries, my DX8.... and no Bind Plug. It would’ve been quicker to just drive home and get 1 of the 2 bind plugs, but my OCD/ADD/ADHD/Dyslexia got the better of me. Disastrous. Only had to forget the bind plug once. Now I have one in every plane’s receiver before I leave, I have bind plugs attached to my transmitters, lanyards, and battery bags. If I find a bind plug on the ground, for me at least and to this day, it’s like winning the lottery.
Great tip, particularly on removing the connectors from the plastic housing as well, thanks for sharing 👊🏼
Ahh yes. The old hot dog down the hallway syndrome. Basically keegles for servo connector. 👍👍😎✌✌
Great info. An easy way to avoid trouble.
Another fantastic tip and very useful info Rich! Thanks for sharing 👍👊
I used this tip yesterday to fix a balancing plug which was presenting intermittent contact with my voltage meter. I found which wire was giving the bad contact and pulled its connector from the housing. I was able to see how loose the pin on the meter fits. After lightly pressing (smashing) the connector it gave a solid contact no matter how I move the balance lead. Thanks again!
Thank you for the excellent tip Rich !
Bonus tip - After you jab your finger, a drop of CA on the puncture wound works nicely.😬 Seriously, another great tip I'll watch out for this from now on.👍
Be careful!
@@RCINFORMERgreat tips man. Huge shout out from Canada. Rich do you put velcro to prevent battery slippage on all your planes? For example on the Otter and the piper cherokee? Do you get double side adhesive velcro or just glue it in?
@@deppi I normally use shelf liner with double sided scotch tape to Keep it from sliding.... The 2 straps will keep it attached to the shelf liner and that way I don't need to use Velcro:)
@@RCINFORMER ok . Thanks
Thanks for the very informative video. All the best in the New Year, and of course, Happy Flying.
Gees Rich that exactoblade and your fingers. Nice tip 👍🏻
I always enjoy watching your video, huge thumbs up from the Midwest. Happy new year
I guess I am kind of randomly asking but does anybody know a good website to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@Ernest Casey i watch on Flixzone. Just google for it :)
Top tip, l’ll be checking my all my servo connections now.
Great tip. Thanks.
Excellent tip and video. Thanks.
Awesome tip, thanks
Great tip, thanks......
Thanks Rich!
Great video
thanks ! ...
👍😊 Happy New Year !
Great tip, thanks. What about the male connector? Any potential issues with those?
Don't forget to use some electrical contact cleaner also...
Nice tip, I'll put that in my memory bank.
I would use heat shrink to keep the connections together.
will you please change it to "your servo connections" ?
Does that causes receiver problems wen the rc servo is not tighten contacts to the receiver
No, but it can cause intermittent servo movement or loss of servo control IF there is a bad connection!
@@RCINFORMER i had servo connection problem to reciever it was the usb wall plug but i tried 4x aa batteries Allgood and tried 7.4v lipo battery worked good thing is with my other servos they work good on the usb wall plug just the new servos ive got didn't
👌👌👌
"sometimes"
"Tighten "your" servo connections..." (great tip however!)
Very useful tips. Thank You 😊
